    Anna M. Abel, 92, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 after a short stay at Oakridge Gardens. Ann was born on April 7, 1921 to Martin and Elizabeth (Derkes) Lemmens in Kimberly. On October 10, 1946 she was united in marriage to Virgil Abel at St. John Catholic Church in Seymour. Ann enjoyed crocheting, knitting and making pies, especially her Thanksgiving banana crème pies. After Virgil's retirement they enjoyed traveling and spending time in Eagle River. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and that time will always be cherished. Ann was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Menasha.
    Ann is survived by her son, Robert (Dyann) Abel, Menasha; grandchildren: Elizabeth Abel, Birmingham, Alabama; David (Debra) Abel, McFarland; Thomas Abel, Phoenix, Arizona; and Jessica Abel, Omaha, Nebraska; a great grandchild, Braxton Abel; three brothers: Arnold (Verna) Lemmens, Seymour; John Lemmens, Green Bay; and Bernard Lemmens, Green Bay; five sisters: Marie Hoes, Green Bay; Martha Melchert, Black Creek; Sally Ossman, Seymour; Esther Gerrits, Green Bay; and Harriet Rolkosky, Green Bay; a sister-in-law, Joyce Abel, Appleton and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
    Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Virgil and a sister Josephine Coenen.
    The funeral liturgy for Ann will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CATHOLIC CHURCH, 516 DePere St., Menasha with Fr. Paul Paider officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.

    Arnold J. Lemmens, 94, of Seymour, formerly of Black Creek, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2016 at Forest Glen, Seymour.
    Friends may call at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Black Creek on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 9 a.m. until the funeral mass at 11 a.m. with Father Brian Belongia officiating. Military rites to follow by the Seymour American Legion. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Black Creek. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com

    Bernard "Chief" Lemmens, 80, Green Bay, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015, following a short illness. He was born November 18, 1934, in Black Creek, WI to Mr. and Mrs. Martin Lemmens.
    Bernard served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After returning from the service, he married Arlene Challe. On March 20, 1966, Bernard married Kathleen Kurowski at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Green Bay. He began his career in 1971 with Brown County and worked for many years in the Maintenance Department at Austin Straubel Airport. Bernard retired from Brown County in 1995. In 1999, he began working for St. Vincent Hospital as a parking attendant. Bernard again retired in January of 2015. In his free time, he enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, listening to country and western music, and watching the Packers. Bernard was a hardworking but "simple kind of man."
    Bernard is survived by his wife, Kathleen; his children from his first marriage: Debbie, New York; Mike, Nevada; William, Roxanne, and Kelly, all of the Green Bay area; his children with Kathleen: Paul (Lisa) Lemmens, Green Bay; Michelle (Karl) Pavlowski, Green Bay; Karie (Dan) Trojan, Denver, CO; Bernard's stepchildren: Connie (Russ) Wagner, Suamico; Jenny Woelz and her special friend, Randy, Seymour; Cindy (Herbie) Hullings, California; Laurie Douglas, Luxemburg; many grandchildren; his special grandchildren, Kelsey, Bryan, Katie Jo, and Will; two great-grandsons, Walker and Carter; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Arnold and Verna Lemmens, Black Creek; John "Flash" Lemmens, Poland, WI; four sisters, Marie Hoes, Sally Able, Harriet Rolkowski, Esther Gerrits, all of the Green Bay area; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his first wife, Arlene; his parents; a granddaughter, Maggie; and three sisters, Anna, Jo, and Martha.
    Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 27. The Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, March 27 at the funeral home, concluded with Veteran Honors. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Kaukauna.     A memorial fund has been established in Bernard's name.
