    Marian Werth, Kaukauna, age 94, died Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. She was born April 7, 1916, in the town of Deer Creek, WI, daughter of the late Mary Jane "Mayme" Mc Glin and Louis Soren Nelson. Marion was a 1934 graduate of Clintonville High School. Prior to her marriage, she worked for Urban Telephone in Clintonville and Wisconsin Distributors of Appleton. On October 22, 1949, Marion married the love of her life, Vernon Werth at Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville. They resided briefly in Neenah before making their home in Kaukauna. Marion served as a Sunday School teacher at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kaukauna, where she was a member.
    Marion was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law: Steven (Lora) and Thomas, of Kaukauna; five grandchildren: Dayna, Lindsay and Michael Werth, Andrea (Andy) Raska and Amanda (Jake) Van Dalen; four great-grandchildren: Blake, Aidan, Anna and Karter; two sisters: Rosella Gartzke and Lois Kreklow; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    In addition to her parents, Marion was preceded in death by her husband Vernon; sisters and brothers: Laura (Lester) Tellock, Mabel (Eric) Strutz, Esther (Herbert) Reimer, Blanche (Leo) Kautz, Reuben (Alice) and Dale (Ellie) Nelson; and brothers-in-law: Robert Gartzke and James Kreklow; and very dear friend Norma Walker.
    Visitation will be held at BETHANY LUTHERAN CHURCH (124 W. 10th Kaukauna) on Saturday October 16, 2010, beginning at 10 a.m. until time of funeral at 11 a.m. Committal Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville. A memorial is being established. For on-line condolences, please visit www.oconnellfh.com.

    Obituary:
    Blanche M. Kautz, age 87, of Clintonville, passed away Monday, December 10, 2007, at the Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center, Clintonville. Blanche was born on April 18, 1920, in the Township of Deer Creek, Outagamie County, the daughter of the late Louis S. and Mary Jane (McGlin) Nelson. She attended Elder Row School in the Township of Deer Creek. In 1926 when she was 6 years old, she moved with her parents to Clintonville where she attended and graduated from Clintonville Public School. On March 4, 1939, Blanche was united in marriage to Leo C. Kautz in Iowa. The couple lived in Marion until 1948 when they moved to Clintonville where they lived the rest of their married life. Mr. Kautz preceded his wife in death on November 26, 2003. Blanche was a member of Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville, where she had been active doing volunteer work and belonging to the Ladies organizations. She also was a long-time member of the Wisconsin Homemakers and the Clintonville Garden Club. Being accomplished at sewing and needlework, Blanche spent many hours working on embroidery, cross stitch and counter cross stitch projects that she gave to family and friends.
    Survivors include her daughter: Karmen Kautz (special friend: Leonard Lewins), Muskego, WI; her sons: Richard (Sharon) Kautz, Wisconsin Rapids; Ronald (Mary) Kautz, Clintonville; Garreth Kautz (special friend, Kristen Pendzich), Clintonville; her grandchildren: Gregory and Jeff Schertz, Tammy Kautz, Lori (Dan) Jacobson, Richard Kautz, Jr., Karrie (Eric) Fugina, Kristal (David Krajnak) Kautz, and Ryon(Jodie) Kautz; her great-grandchildren: Kayla, Camren and Zachary Kautz, Tyler and Tanner Fugina, Bryson and Peyton Kautz, and Elliot Britz; her sisters: Marion Werth, Kaukauna; Rosella Gartzke, Shawano; Lois (James) Kreklow, Bear Creek; her brother, Dale (Ellie) Nelson, Pueblo, CO; her sister-in-law: Gladys Kautz, Clintonville.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Leo, a son; Michael in infancy; three sisters: Laura Tellock, Mabel Strutz and Esther Riemer and her brother, Reuben Nelson.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2007, at the Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville with the Rev. Willard Hager officiating. Interment will be in the Roseland Cemetery, Township of Dupont, Waupaca County. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
