    Ann L. O'Connor, age 92, died on Saturday, June 4, 2011, at St. Paul Villa, Kaukauna, WI. Born on November 20, 1918, in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of Andrew J. and Mabel (Wirth) Powers. She was married to Clifford J. O'Connor on August 27, 1940. They resided in Madison and Milwaukee. Ann was employed by 1st National Bank of Madison and later retired from its' affiliated bank in Milwaukee. After Clifford and Ann's retirement, they enjoyed many years together in Venice, FL. Cliff and Ann had a love for dancing and golf, shared with their many close friends and relatives over the years. Ann was a true sports lover and enjoyed cheering on her favorite teams, the Brewers, the Packers, and her favorite golfer, Phil.
    Ann is survived by her two daughters; Mary (Frank) Wywialowski of Beloit, Wisconsin and Ellen (Michael) Coonen of Kaukauna, Wisconsin; Five grandchildren, Ann (Glenn) Curtiss of Plymouth, WI, Scott (Kelly) Wywialowski of Beloit, WI, Wendy Coonen of Kaukauna, WI, Timothy (Rachel) Coonen of Menasha, WI and Jonathan Coonen of River Falls, WI; three great-grandchildren, Caden and Morgan Wywialowski and Amrynn Coonen.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford, parents Andrew and Mabel, and sister Mary Powers.
    The family wishes to send our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff of St. Paul Villa and St. Paul Hospice for the love and compassion shown to mom. Thank you also to the residents of St. Paul Villa, especially mom's dear friend Marie, for your friendship, stories, and laughter.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2131 Rowley Ave., on Friday, June 10, 2011, at 11 a.m. with Fr. Patrick Norris O.P. officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Friday, June 10, 2011, from 10 a.m. until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the family for a memorial fund to be set up at a later date.     Powers, Mary E.
    MADISON - Mary E. Powers, age 86, died on Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at Meriter Hospital. She was born on May 3, 1920, in Madison, to the late Andrew J. and Mabel (Wirth) Powers. Mary worked as a central region supervisor for American Family Insurance Company and then as secretary for Blunt Ellis and Lowe Investments (currently Wachovia Securitites). She was a lifelong member of St. Raphael's Cathedral. Mary was a member of the Certified Professional Secretaries Association and Madison Civic Club. She loved her volunteer work for the Madison Police Department and Meriter Retirement Center. Mary is survived by a sister, Ann L. O'Connor of Venice, Fla.; two nieces, Mary (Frank) Wywialowski of Beloit, and Ellen (Michael) Coonen of Kaukauna; five great-nieces and great-nephews, Ann (Glenn) Curtiss of Plymouth, Scott (Kelly) Wywialowski of Beloit, Wendy Coonen of Kaukauna, Timothy (Rachel) Coonen of Menasha, and Jonathan Coonen of River Falls; a great-great-nephew, Caden Wywialowski; and a great-great-niece, Morgan Wywialowski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2115 Rowley Ave., Madison, at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006. Visitation will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service, with a rosary service at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
