    Obituary:
    Mrs. Agnes Metoxen, 69, died Sunday afternoon, December 24, at 12:30 o'clock at the local Homme Home for the Aging. She had been in ill health the past four years, seriously so since mid-September.
    Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, December 27, at 10:00 o'clock at Redeemder Lutheran Church, College Ave., in this village with the Rev. M. J. Ha___. (missing text)
    Burial was in the parish cemetery and the casket bearers were Frederick Stevens, Joseph Stevens, Edward Stevens, William Gollnick, Daniel Hebb and Randolph Matson. The Schmidt Funeral Home, Wittenberg, had charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Metoxen was born October 9, 1898 in Oneida, Wis., daughter of the late Dixon and Jane (Denny) Skenadore. She was married in Appleton in 1916 to Edward Metoxen, who died in 1938. They lived in Gresham until 1926, when they moved to Wittenberg. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
    Surviving are eleven children: Raymond Metoxen, Wittenberg; Kaiser Webster, Markham, Illinois; Samanthia (Mrs. James Farmer) Wittenberg; Commodore Metoxen, Manitowoc; Josephine (Mrs. William Nolan) Markham, Illinois; Dorothy (Mrs. William Demyter) Green Bay; Delia (Mrs. Erling Matson) Wittenberg; Virginia (Mrs. David Skenadore) National City, Calif.; E!da (Mrs. Carl Hebb) Green Bay; Lyndahl Metoxen, Manitowoc; and Earl Metoxen, Johnstown, Ohio.
    Also surviving are six sisters and four brothers: George Skenadore, Mrs. Sherman Skenadore and Mrs. Wm. Skenadore, DePere; Walter Skenadore and Mrs. Mel Stevens, West DePere; Joslin Skenadore and Mrs. Loomis John, Oneida; James Skenadore, Chicago, Illinois; Mrs. Eunice Antone, Split Rock; and Mrs. Alex Cornelius.     Commodore Metoxen "Mr. Terrible", 84, Oneida, was called home on Friday evening, Dec. 8, 2006. The son of the late Edward and Agnes (Skenandore) Metoxen was born Feb. 7, 1922, in Green Bay. He married the former Lorraine Hill and the couple was married 60 years. Commodore served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He enjoyed playing dartball in the church league and hunting in his younger years. Mr. Metoxen worked in the Oneida area for many years and was a dedicated member of the Oneida United Methodist Church.
    Survivors include his wife, Lorraine; one daughter, Caroline Hill; one son, Bernard Metoxen; one step-daughter, Sandra (Bernard) Hawpetoss; ten grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and many great- grandchildren; ; two sisters, Virginia Skenandore, Dorothy Denruyter; two brothers, Earl Metoxen and Lyndahl Metoxen.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers and sisters; Josephine, Samantha, Elda, Delia, Kaiser and Raymond.
    Friends may call at Oneida Methodist Church, Freedom Road, from 3 to 7 p.m. on Monday Dec. 11, 2006. Oneida Hymn Singing will begin at 5:30 p.m. with parish prayer service to be held at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue at church after 9 a.m. Tuesday until time of services. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Julio A. Alvarado officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery with graveside services by the Oneida VFW Post.     Dorothy D. (Metoxen) Denruyter, 87, Oneida, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 1, 1926, to Edward and Agnes (Skenandore) Metoxen. On June 7, 1949, she married William M. Denruyter Sr. He preceded her in death February 26, 2003. Dorothy had been employed by Fabry Glove, Larsen Canning Co. and Oneida Bingo & Casino.
    Dorothy is survived by her children and their spouses, Tony Skenandore, Lucinda and Richard Vervoren, Wanda and James Saunders, Patricia Fischer, Dorothy R. Denruyter, William Denruyter Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Barb Metoxen; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Skenandore; a brother, Earl (Annie) Metoxen; nieces and nephews.
    She was also preceded in death by her son, Donald Metoxen; her parents; brothers and sisters.

    Karen is survived by one granddaughter, Wynoka Skenandore; five great-grandchildren, Tico Howard Jr., MyLinda Rodrigues, Robert Skenandore, Sophia Skenandore, Airen Skenandore; sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Betty Skenandore; numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren and her special friends, Milton and Nadine Dallas.
    She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Rayne "Suzi" Stevens; her brothers, Anthony and Phillip Skenandore; sisters, Irene Cornelius and Harriet Alicea.
    Friends and family may call at Oneida United Methodist Church, Freedom Road, Oneida, Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Oneida Singers starting at 6:30 p.m. with a service to follow at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Friday Nov. 19, 2010, at 10 a.m. at church till time of service at 11 a.m. with Rev.
