    That is correct-- Her name was Lucina-not Lucinda. She was named after Alberts sister who became a nun-- A Racine Dominican. Her name was Sister Lu cina. We always knew Lucina as Aunt Cina(Seena). And it was just Lucina a nd Gertrude. You will note that Gertrude did not have a middle name.

    Lucina C. Johnson 144 Will ow Street KimberlyAge 95, passed away Friday, January 26, 2001, at St. Paul Home in Kaukaun a. Cena was born in Little Chute on July 25, 1905, daughter of the late Al bert and Lena (Green) Hartjes. On July 22, 1929, she married John Johns on in Little Chute. He preceded her in death in 1987. Lucina was a longtim e, faithful, and very active member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Kimber ly, where she was also a member of the Ladies of Holy Name and the Missi on Ladies. She was also a member of the Kimberly Golden Agers, and many wi ll remember Lucina for her volunteer efforts at Colony Oaks Care Cent er in Appleton.She is survived by two daughters, Joan (Martin) Conrad and Lorrie (Tom) Wi ldenberg, both of Kimberly; four grandchildren, Kim (Michael) Rusch of App leton, Cindy (Mark) Antonie of Madison, Mary (Steve) Hooyman of Darboy, a nd Sandy (Dale) Oudenhoven of Little Chute; five great-grandchildren, An dy and Sarah Rusch, Zak Antonie, and Kelly and Benjamin Hooyman; four sist ers-in-law, Cora Shearier of Wisconsin Rapids, Ann (Bruce) Fisher of Los A ngeles, Marge (Jim) Riedel of Rockford, Illinois, and Dorothy Nimtz of Vir ginia, Minnesota. Lucina was preceded in death by her husband, in 198 7; a sister, Gertrude (Martin) Vanden Heuvel; brothers-in-law, Bernard She arier, Carroll Nimtz, Joe Kellner, and George Staniforth, and sisters-in-l aw, Gert (Joe) Gilardi and Mary Schultz.The funeral liturgy for Lucina will be held at 12 noon on Monday, Janua ry 29, 2001, at HOLY NAME CATHOLIC CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimbe rly, with Fr. David Schmidt officiating. Interment will be in the parish c emetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. un til the hour of the liturgy. The family would like to thank the wonderf ul people at both St. Elizabeth Hospital and at St. Paul Home for the ca re and concern shown to Lucina.     Joan M. Conrad, 80, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Parkside Care Center. Joan was born on September 30, 1931 in Little Chute to John and Lucina (Hartjes) Johnson. She was united in marriage to Martin Conrad on June 17, 1953 at Holy name, and together they spent 58 wonderful years together. Joan was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and always enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a very generous and caring person and always charitable to those in need. Joan taught religion at Holy Name. She was a member of the Cross and Crown prayer group, Holy Spirit Parish, and the American Legion Auxiliary. Joan is survived by her husband, Martin, of Kimberly, two daughters; Cindy (Mark) Conrad-Antonie of Madison, Sandy (Dale) Oudenhoven of Little Chute, one grandson, Zack Antoine of Madison, one sister, Lorrie (Tom) Wildenberg, her and sisters-in-law, Geraldine Fahrenkrug, Alice Subert, Wilma Weyenberg, Theresa (Roy) Vanden Heuvel, a brother-in-law, Dale Seefeldt, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
