    Obituary:
    After a full, beautiful enriched life, mom has now gone to rest. Mary passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, with her family at her side. On July 8, 1929, Mary was born the daughter of the late Arnold and Mabel Carpenter. She was united in marriage to Oliver Holewinski on January 15, 1949 in Navarino; he preceded her in death on December 21, 2008. For over 18 years, Mary worked for Modern Manufacturing and retired in 1993. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Menasha and also the Rosary Society.
    Mary will be missed by her loving daughters: Catherine (Alex) Sikander and Theresa (Tom) Lienhardt; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Gary (Ellen) Carpenter; two sisters: Anna Marie (Chuck) Siroin, Rita Page; a sister-in-law, Nancy Carpenter; brother-in-law, Alex Niespodzany; daughter-in-law, Katherine, and other relatives and friends.
    She was also preceded in death by her son, Allen Holewinski and his daughter, Tammy; two brothers: Earl and Daniel; and a sister, Ruth (Ray) Schroeder.
    A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 516 De Pere Street, Menasha, with Fr. Paul Paider officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the hour of the Mass at the church. Interment will take place in St. John Cemetery, Town of Menasha. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial will be established.
    The family would like to extend their gratitude and love to Mary's caregivers: Jenny Peterson, Salley Bauer, Eileen Buchanan, the Nowak Family, all of her grandchildren
    and Jensen's Group.

    Ruth P. Schroeder, age 81 of Navarino, passed away early Tuesday morning, January 10, 2012 at ManorCare of Shawano, where she had been a resident for the past three months.
    Ruth was born December 29, 1930 in Bear Creek, Wis. A daughter of the late Arnold and Mabel (Campbell) Carpenter.
    She attended school in Shawano. Following school she was united in marriage to Ray Schroeder on Feb 11, 1948 in Gillett, WI.
    Following their marriage the couple live in Black Creek, Cecil and Suring. They moved to Navarino in 1983.
    Ruth worked with her husband at the tavern the owned and operated in Suring . After the tavern was sold, she worked as a clerk at Stengels market in Suring. Her husband preceded her in death in 1985.
    Ruth enjoyed all football but especially the Green Bay Packers. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and spending time at the casino. She especially enjoyed visiting with family and friends.
    Survivors include; Two sons- Scott (Sally) Schroeder of Navarino; Jim Schroeder of Oconto. Two grandchildren-Erin and Kelsie. One great Grandson-Daemon. She is further survived by three sisters- Mary Holewinski of Neenah; Anna Marie (Chuck) Siroin of Clintonville; Rita Page of Menasha; One brother-Gary (Ellen) Carpenter of Neenah; One sister-in-law-Nancy Carpenter of Navarino. Several nieces and nephews.
    Ruth was preceded in death by two brothers-Earl and Dan Carpenter.
    A Funeral mass for Ruth Schroeder will be celebrated on Friday, January 13 at 11:30 AM at St Lawrence Catholic Church in Navarino. Father Ted Hendricks will be the the Celebrant. Interment will be in the Underhill Cemetery, Town of Underhill in the spring. Relatives and friends may call at the Church on Friday after 10;00 AM until the time of mass.
    Schroeder-Mickelson Funeral Service of Shawano is assisting the family with service arrangements.
