    Bourassa, Col. Joseph W. (Re tired USAF)Col. Joseph W. Bourassa, (Retired USAF), 224 E. Garden St., Pensacola, Fla ., formerly of Green Bay, Wis., peacefully passed away Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005, at his home. Joe's military career spanned over 34 years. His mil itary career started in the Navy. He then transferred to the Air For ce to become a pilot to fulfill his passion for flying. Joe was a decorat ed World War II and Korean War Veteran and served in the Air Force Reserv es as a pilot for over 30 years. His final command was as deputy command er for the 459th TAW at Andrews AFB, Md. He was preceded in death by his w ife, Rita M. Pfeiffer Bourassa, and grandson, Matthew.He is survived by his five children, Daniel J. Bourassa D.C., Andalusia, A la.; David C. Bourassa, Pensacola, Fla.; Mary E. Heard, Triangle, Va.; Tho mas J. Bourassa, Phoenix, Ariz.; and Nancy E. Caulder, Oxford, Ala.; and n ine grandchildren.A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Williebrord Catholic Church in Green B ay, Wis., at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, by Fr. Ken Degroot. A mi litary honors ceremony to follow at 11:30 a.m. with internment at Allou ez Catholic Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum in Green Bay, Wis.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to www.MatthewsMission.org or ww w.HospiceEmeraldCoast.org
