Lindow, Lorna D.Lorna D. Lindow, age 89, of Clintonville, passed away Saturday, November 2 6, 2005, at the Angelus Retirement Community, Clintonville. Lorna was bo rn on November 28, 1915, in the Township of Pella, Shawano County, the dau ghter of the late Louis and Clara (Utech) Westphal. She was united in marr iage to Ora Lindow on November 7, 1934, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Churc h, Township of Pella. The couple lived in various communities in the Shawa no and Waupaca County, later residing in Clintonville. Lorna had work ed at Weilands Restaurant, Clintonville, and later worked as a dietiti an at the Clintonville Community Hospital. Ora preceded his wife in dea th on April 19, 1980. Lorna was a very devoted mother and grandmother w ho enjoyed making crafts, especially with angels and birds. She served a v olunteer, working at the LCFS Thrift Store, Shawano. She was a member of t he St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville, where she belonged to the Lad ies Aid and the Busy Twelve. Her friends, family and especially her grandc hildren will sadly miss her.Survivors include six sons, Lester Lindow (special friend, Mary), Hemet, C alif.; James (Darlene) Lindow, Clintonville; Jerry (Mina) Lindow, Neena h; Kenneth (Carol) Lindow, Horicon; Roger (Sandy) Lindow, New London; Robe rt (Barb) Lindow, Fort Smith, Ariz.; her daughter-in-law, Patti Lindow, Be nton, Ark.13 Grandchildren. 17 Great-Grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ora; her sister, Ed naBartz; three brothers, John, Clarence and Harry Westphal and her son, Or ie, Jr. on January 19, 2000.Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005, at t he St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville with the Rev. David Last offic iating and interment will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville.Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Eberhardt-Stevens on Funeral Home, Clintonville and after 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the chur ch until the time of the service.
