    Joseph J. Pitsch, 76, of Appleton, passed away at home on Saturday, September 25, 2004 after a courageous battle with cancer. He died at home surrounded by the love of his wife Dorothy, ten children, twenty five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Joe was born August 1, 1928 in Sheboygan, WI to Joseph E. and Margaret (Altenberger) Pitsch. He graduated from Kiel High School in 1946. On November 26, 1949 he married Dorothy Matthias at St. Wendel Catholic Church in Cleveland, WI. He lived in Cleveland, WI, Appleton, WI and Sycamore, IL, where he worked in automotive and agribusiness sales. He was also a band leader and drummer with various dance bands. Joe will be deeply missed by his bride, Dorothy; his children: Barbara Malueg, Appleton; John (Jeannie) Pitsch, Marshfield, WI; Michael (Deb) Pitsch, Racine, WI; Deb (Jack) Lalko, Appleton; Andrew (Nancy) Pitsch, Sterling, IL; Sandra Malone, Racine; Alan (Kathy) Pitsch, Burnsville, MN; Laura (Erik) Dalma, Madison; Sara Van Heuklon, Appleton; and Maria (Jerry) Last, St. Peter, WI. Grandpa Joe will be sadly missed by his grandchildren: Marsha (Chris) Kasper; Mary (Scott) Lichtenwalner; Erin and Trevor (Amanda) Pitsch; Stephen Koontz; Ian Kennedy; Alexandra Pitsch; Michelle (Andrew) Turner; Megan Pitsch (fiancé J. T. Campbell); Cory Lalko (fiancé Scott Kleinmann); Abby Lalko; Ethan, Victoria, Jennifer and Whitney Pitsch; Donell and Angela Malone; Ryan Pitsch; Sofia and Camille Dalma; Lauren and Conner Van Heuklon; Sheena, Eva and Amelia Last. Great Grandpa Joe will also be missed by his great-grandchildren: Madeline Kasper; Joshua, Jessica and Kyla Lichtenwalner; Rylan Pitsch; and Zane Taylor. Joe is survived by his sisters: Marian (Fritz) Hertel; Delores (Elroy) Biederwolf; Irene Davis; and Carolyn (Ignatius) Gorenc. He is further survived by his sisters-in-law: Ruby Pitsch; Evelyn Kraft; and Gloria (Donald) Hopf. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Bart (Betty) and Willard (Alice) Matthias. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ralph Pitsch; brothers-in- law: Richard Davis; Bob O??(TM)Brien; Elroy and Merlin Matthias; and sisters-in-law, Jeanette and Sadie Matthias. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, September 30, 2004 at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1617 West Pine Street, Appleton, with Rev. John P. Bergstadt officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 29 from 4 until 8 p.m., and again at the church on Thursday, from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. A Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, at 7:00 p.m. The interment will be held at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Appleton. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Robert Geller and staff at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology, Home Instead Senior Care, and Heartland Hospice Services.     Barb Malueg, age 64, of Kimberly, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015. She was born on June 28, 1950 in Sheboygan, to the late Joseph and Dorothy (Matthias) Pitsch. Barb received her Master's degree in Theology from St. Francis Seminary. She was a Chaplain at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay and St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls. Barb enjoyed crafting, turtles and spending time with her family.
    Barb is survived by her daughters, Marsha (Chris) Kasper and Mary (Scott) Lichtenwalner; Meme to Jessica, Kyla, Maddy, and Owen; her great grandchildren, Nya and Kayliani; siblings: John (Jeannie) Pitsch, Michael (Deb) Pitsch, Deb (Jack) Lalko, Andy (Nancy) Pitsch, Sandra Malone, Alan (Kathy) Pitsch, Laura Pitsch, Sara Van Heuklon, and Maria (Jerry) Last. She is further survived by Robert Malueg, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Barb was preceded in death by her grandson Joshua and niece Jennifer.
    The memorial mass for Barb will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 24, 2015 at HOLY SPIRIT/HOLY NAME CATHOLIC CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly. Inurnment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Appleton. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wichmann Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel on Thursday from 4:00 pm until the time of the prayer service at 7:00 pm. On Friday the visitation will take place at church from 10:00 am until time of mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.
