Buss Jr, Thomas "Mike"
Thomas "Mike" Buss Jr., 54, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, died Friday, September 19, 2008, in the Town of Buchanan. Mike was born December 18, 1953, in Wisconsin Rapids to Thomas and Joyce (Newman) Buss. His Marriage to Jennifer Kauth on May 26, 1977, in Wisconsin Rapids ended in divorce. He worked at Beloit Corp, Voith, Apache Stainless and Sam's Club. He attended Children's Choice School and Lincoln High School before graduating in 1972. He attended Mid-State Technical College for Mechanical design. He was an avid sports fan, active member of the Freedom Moravian Church, dedicated youth advisor and loved golfing.
Mike is survived by two daughters: Amanda Buss of Plover and Danielle Buss of Milwaukee; three grandchildren: Korrine, Kollin and Maya Buss, all of Plover; parents: Tom and Joyce Buss, of Wisconsin Rapids; sisters: Rita (Ken) Chipman of Dousman, Brenda of Wisconsin Rapids, Jackie (Dave) Woodard of Necedah and Jewell (Jack) Ninneman of Wisconsin Rapids; special aunt, Mavis, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one great-nephew, Landon Woodard.
Funeral services were held on September 23, 2008, at the Kellner Moravian Church and a Memorial service was held on October 3, at the Freedom Moravian Church. Burial was in Restlawn Memorial Park. A video tribute can be seen at www.higginsfuneralhome. net.
