    Obituary:
    Ethel H. Dreger, 88, Kaukauna, passed away Sunday morning, May 31, 2009, at St. Paul Home. Ethel was born January 15, 1921, in Kaukauna, to the late Peter and Helena (Scholl) Rademacher. She attended Holy Cross Grade School and was a graduate of Kaukauna High School, Class of 1939. On July 3, 1944, Ethel was united in marriage to Floyd "Bucko" Dreger, "the love of her life," at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna.
    For many years Ethel was employed at Floyd's Beauty Salon and Lin-Mar Beauty Shop as a beautician. She was a faithful member at Holy Cross Catholic Parish, Kaukauna, where she volunteered for several years with Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry, Ladies of Holy Cross, and Octoberfest. She was an active member with the Moose Lodge, Kaukauna, and Lady K-C's.
    She was an avid card player; enjoyed bowling and loved to travel. Most of all she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
    In addition to her loving husband Floyd of 64 wonderful years, Ethel is further survived by her two daughters, Sharon (Larry) Woldt and Pam (Jeff) Kelly, both of Kaukauna; five grandchildren, Lisa Stevens, Appleton; Stacey Woldt, Glendale Heights, IL; Aaron (Tammy) Woldt, Alpena, MI; Sean (Angie) Kelly, De Pere, WI; Brian (special friend Katy Kordus) Kelly, Brookfield, WI; four great-grandchildren, Spencer Stevens, Noah and Morgan Woldt, and soon to be born baby Kelly; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
    Ethel is preceded in death by her two brothers, Joe (Anna) Rademacher and Frank (Vi) Rademacher; three sisters, Marie (Nick) Gian, Margaret (Gordon) Remmel, and Verna Rademacher.
    A Funeral Liturgy for Ethel will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna. Fr. Tom Pomeroy will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Ethel will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna.
    A memorial fund has been established in Ethel's name.
    Ethel's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and caregivers at St. Paul Elder Services and Dr. Michael Werner, for their wonderful care. A special thanks to Frank and Laura Merckx, Bea Johnson, and Michalene Steffens, for being great neighbors and friends to our mother.
    Ethel's greatest accomplishment was her generous and caring heart; she would always provide comfort and support for anyone in need.
