DeBroux, Elizabeth M. "Betty"
Elizabeth M. DeBroux "Betty", age 76, of Kimberly, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at her home. Betty was born on November 20, 1929, in Kaukauna, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Menting) Revoir. On October 28, 1948, she was united in marriage to Wilfred "Bill" De Broux, the couple later divorced. Betty was a cook at Marty's Place for 23 years.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Russ DeBroux, Little Chute; a niece, Shelly (Bruce) Zeinert, Little Chute; former husband: Bill DeBroux; sister-in-law, Jane Revoir, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers: David, Paul, Ernest, Donald; sisters: Katherine, Marlene; and a special friend, Jim.
A memorial service for Betty will be held on Monday, March 24, 2008, at 6 p.m. at the Jansen Fargo Funeral Home (204 East Kimberly Avenue) with Sister Annette Koss officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Holy Name Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
Betty's obsessions were golf, bowling, pull tabs, scratch offs, and spending time with her friends at "Down the Hill." As many know, her lucky number was "15." She will be deeply missed by her niece and friend, Shelly.
