    Dettl, Helen (Yingling) (nee Andrejeski) KaukaunaAge 79, died peacefully Thursday, Thanksgiving Day at St. Elizabeth Hospit al, Appleton following a brief illness. She was born November 11, 19 23 in Kaukauna; daughter of the late Thomas and Stella (Romenesko)(WRONG S HOULD BE Romanski) Andrejeski. Helen married Jerome Yingling in 1944, he preceded her in death in June of 1966. On October 20, 1973, she married Jo hn "Jack" Dettl. The couple celebrated 28 years of marriage until his dea th in June of 2001. Helen enjoyed sewing, quilting and going to the casin o. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Combined Locks.Surviving are children and their families: Thomas (Debbie) Yingling and th eir son Jeremy, Appleton; Linda (Pete) Madaski, Iron Mt., Michigan; Gary ( special friend Ginny Deines) and his son Jordan, Appleton; Karen (Michae l) Rammer and their daughter Sarah, Kaukauna; David (Jennifer) Yingling a nd their sons Dan and John, Appleton; Audrey Dettl (Milton) Daanen, Sturge on Bay and their children, Deborah Daanen (Jamie) Van Dahlen, Gregg (Kare n) Daanen, Jeffrey (Amy) Daanen, Carrie Daanen (Scott) Callahan; Jack (Car ol) Dettl, Allen, Michigan and their children, John (Lynn) Dettl, Jim (Luc y) Dettl, Joel (Kim) Dettl, Mark (Mary) Dettl, Janet (Dan) Ahlburg; 17 gre at-grandchildren, two brothers and five sister-in-laws: Joe Andrejeski, Ne enah; Steve (friend Rita) Andrejeski, Kimberly; Lorraine Andrejeski, Kimbe rly; Mary Yingling, Lakewood; Della Yingling, Nebraska; Delores Yinglin g, Appleton; Dorothy (Gene) Sage, Arkansas; a sister and three brothers-in -law: Mary (Al) Newlin, Florida; Orv (Bea) Yingling, White Lake; Jim (Joan ne) Yingling, Leona; numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in de ath by her first husband, Jerome Yingling; second husband, John Dettl; a b rother, John; three brothers-in-law: Donald, Norbert and Francis Yinglin g; four sisters-in-law: Hazel Yingling, Kathrine, Esther and Marie Andreje ski.Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm Monday, December 2, 2002 at St. P aul's Catholic Church, Combined Locks with Fr. Robert Vandenberg officiati ng. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at t he church from 3:30 pm Monday until the time of services. In lieu of flowe rs, a memorial fund has been established in her name. The Boettcher Fami ly Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family.The family would like to thank two special angels, Delores and Harry Hurs t, Dr. Alan Cherkasky, Dr. Robert Gellar and the staff of Hematology and O ncology of the Fox Valley and also Dr. Bryan Avery and the staff of the I CU Unit of St. Elizabeth Hospital for their caring and compassionate treat ment of Helen during her illness.

    (Medical):He was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer the 3rd week of January. He never smoked a day of his life. He felt fine before just had a bad cough and it turned into pneumonia, and that is when they found the cancer. He had chemo but it was too late.

    Gary Yingling, 58, Kaukauna, passed away at home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Gary was born on June 29, 1951, in Appleton, to the late Jerome and Helen (Andrejeski) Yingling. He married Virginia Christensen on Jan. 3, 2004. Gary worked for Thilmany for 40 years and was an avid golfer. He was a wonderful husband and father and was an all around great guy. Gary was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held the position of High Priest.
    Gary is survived by his wife, Virginia Yingling, Kaukauna; one son, Jordan (Kelly) Yingling, Appleton; four daughters, Cristi (Mike) Gatten, Las Vegas; Hollie Anne Chadwick, Las Vegas; Terri Lynne (David) Gonzalez, Alpine, Utah; Debbie (Michael) Harper, Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren, Cailin, Lila, Christina, Christopher, Carolyn, Jason, Skyler, Tiffany, Kelsie, and Stasha; two great-grandchildren, Cameron and Jordan; two brothers, Thomas (Debbie) Yingling and David (Jennifer) Yingling; two sisters, Linda (Pete) Madaski and Karen (Mike) Rammer; his mother-in-law, Eileen Christensen, Orem, Utah; five nieces and nephews and many friends.
    Gary was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Carl Christensen.
    Friends may call on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS, 425 W. Park Ridge Ave., Appleton. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, at the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the St. Paul's Cemetery.
