    Obituary:
    Weyenberg, Michael "Mike"
Mike passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. He was born on April 5, 1951, in Appleton, to Robert "Pat" and Virginia "Ginny" Weyenberg. He found his soulmate in Denise Dzanbazoff, and they were married on July 6, 1979. Mike loved to race at the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) tracks under number "57" and took first place in his division in 2009. Mike was an avid Packers fan and enjoyed deer hunting, playing pool, and "tinkering" on his race car. His biggest joy, however, was spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Mike served his country in the Air Force and was honorably discharged.
Mike was a generous and gregarious man; always there with a handshake and a smile. He made friends easily wherever he went.
Mike is survived by his wife of 35 years, Denise; his daughter, Lindsey Weyenberg and her children, Olivia and Janeeva; and his daughter, Nicole (Jason) Mattson and their children, Sidney, Kenna, and Trenton. He is also survived by his brother; Bill (Sheri) Weyenberg; his sister, Ellen (Gary) Hartzheim; his mother-in-law, Katherine "Rose" Dzanbazoff; sister-in-law, Stephanie (Tom) Knorr; and his brother-in-law, Ben (Julie) Dzanbazoff. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, with special mention of his cousin, Larry Burke, and his nephew, Michael Knorr.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, Steve Dzanbazoff.
A visitation will be held at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond Street, Appleton, on Saturday, January 3, 2015, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., followed by full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
