    Raymond J.Schumacher, age 82, died Wednesday November 22, 2000 in Theda Cl ark Medical Center. Ray was born November 7, 1918 in Vandenbroek, son of t he late John P. and Hattie (Williamsen) Schumacher, and lived in the Fox V alley his entire life. He was married to Marion Weyenberg on June 6, 19 50 at St.Theresa Catholic Church in Appleton, and they shared 50 years t ogether. Ray worked at the Kimberly-Clark Corp.at the Kimberly Mill f or 42 years. He was a World War II veteran and served the Army Air Corp s, 36th Bombardment Squadron (H) 44th Bombardment Group in France, Germa ny and England. Ray was a member of St.Margaret Mary's Catholic Chur ch in Neenah, a 47 year member of St.Therese Catholic Church in Appleton a nd a member of the America Legion Post in Little Chute. Ray will be rememb ered as a perfectionist in gardening and as a whisker-player. He will be m issed by his wife Marion Weyenberg-Schumacher, two daughters and sons in-l aw, Ann and Paul Day, Waukesha and their children Megan and Allison, Sus an and Paul Ruthven, Neenah, and their children Ben and Emily, seven broth ers and sisters in-law, Harold and Germaine, Joseph and Mary, Mauri ce and Florence, Eugene and Eleanor, Marvin and Leona, John R. and Kati e, James and Donna, two sisters and brothers in-law, Mildred and Robert Hu ss and Rita and Kenneth Hoffman, a sister in-law Therese Schumacher and th ree aunts Agnes Huss, Viola Williamsen and Betty Williamsen and many niec es and nephews. After his parents, Ray is preceded in death by his two bro thers Peter and Clarence. Services will be held on Saturday Novemb er 25 in St. Therese Catholic Church with Fr.Dan Gilsdorf and Fr.David K och. Military service will follow. Funeral will take place at St.Joseph Ce metery. Friends may call at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Cha pel from 4-8 in the afternoon and after this directly at the church from S aturday morning 10 until the service.

    Ann Marie Day, longtime resident of Waukesha, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at the age of 58. Ann was born on October 4, 1955, the daughter of Raymond and Marion (Weyenberg) Schumacher in Appleton, WI. She graduated from Xavier High School in 1973 and went on to proudly receive her Bachelors degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1977. She married Paul Day on August 31, 1979 and they relocated to Waukesha. Ann was heavily involved in the community and served as an advocate for the mentally ill. Ann held the title of Executive Director of NAMI Waukesha for over a decade. Her kindness, sensitivity, inner strength and bravery will be fondly remembered by her friends and family. A recipient of many awards bestowed upon her by the community of Waukesha, she selflessly lent her talents to help others in need.
    Ann will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Paul and their two daughters, Megan and Allie; her mother Marion; her sister, Sue (Paul) Ruthven; her brothers-in-law, Don (Joan) and Al (Eileen); her sisters-in-law, Dianne (Gordon) Saron, Pat Dengel and Barb (Mike) Muth; her nieces and nephews, Ben (Sara), Emily, Colleen (Todd), Kevin (Mollie), Kristen, Kelly (Josh), Jessica (Steve), Jon, Amy (Alex), Nathan, Jeff (Jessica), Eric (Katie), Maddy and Emma; further survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. Ann is preceded in death by her father and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ken and Marie Day.
    The visitation for Ann will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2014, from Noon until the 3 p.m. Funeral Service at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha. The Rev. John Hemsing officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County, 701 Northview Road, Waukesha, WI 53188 or the charity of the donor's choice .
