You have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8
Mom, you're finally resting in peace. No more loneliness, no more worry, no more pain. We are all so proud of your tenacity. You had endurance, wit and spunk like no other. You instilled honesty, hard work and frugality in the entire family. We will miss your guidance and zest for life. Your work here is done.
Mom loved "Cooking with Amy" and trying new recipes. Taking road trips in her "Biddy Bus" (the van) to a casino or two. Playing cards with her sister and friends. Sitting with the great grandkids playing piano. She has left us with many fun stories to tell. We will treasure those stories. Retelling them will bring much laughter, many tears, comfort and healing.
Thanks to the loving care given by the staff on the second floor at Theda Clark. Thanks to all for your kind words and prayers. We are never prepared for the loss of a loved one but your support and God's grace will get us through.
A private service with immediate family will be held. Please keep us in your prayers. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. For more information and to express your condolences, please visit www.WestgorFuneralHomes.com.
