Randy Rausch, Kaukauna, 41, died Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at MD Anders on Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Randy was born May 16, 1965, to James a nd Joan (Ploetz) Rausch in Kaukauna. He married the former Tammy Mad er on October 21, 1995, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sherwood. Ran dy was an avid sports fan as well as an active participant in many sport s. He enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with friends. Randy wi ll be missed by all who knew him. He was "a friend to everyone and everyo ne was a friend to him."Randy is survived by his wife, Tammy Rausch and his son, Chad Rausch; h is father, Jim Rausch; his sister, Robyn (Dick) Trilling and their two chi ldren, Josh and Amber; his brother, Jim Rausch; and Chad's mother, Sue Zwi ers. He is further survived by Tammy's parents, Mike and Becky Mader; t wo sisters, Brenda (Chuck) Stumpf and their children, Jacob and Brittne y; Carrie (Bob) Syring and their children, Brendon and Becca Hartjes and J effrey Syring; and a brother, Tim (Cherie) Mader and their son, Mikal. Ran dy is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Rausch, grandparents, Carl a nd Alice Ploetz and Frank and Wilma Rausch, his two aunts Margery Ploetz a nd Carole Passantino.Randy's funeral service will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday October 10, 200 6, at BETHANY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 124 West 10th Street, Kaukauna with Rev. Wa lt Steinbach officiating. Friends will be received on Tuesday at Church fr om 3:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is bei ng established. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home is assisting the famil y. 766-2099.The family would like to thank the staff at VLCC in Green Bay, UW Madis on Hospitals and Clinics and MD Anderson for all the care and compassion t hey gave Randy during his time of need.
