Vanden Berg, Lucille M. "Ceil" (nee Vanden Bloomer) KaukaunaAge 76, passed away at Anna John Nursing Home in Oneida on Friday, Decemb er 6, 2002. She was born in Kaukauna on October 17, 1926, the daught er of the late Albert and Josephine (Skenadore) Vanden Bloomer. She work ed at a canning factory and various home health care patients.Ceil is survived by her son, John (Judy) Mitchell; three grandchildren: Br ian (Cathy), Dennis and Karen; a great grandson Justin; three sisters: Ver na Diedrick, Josephine Fox, and Carol (Bob) Chosa; four brothers: Harvey a nd friend Karen, Ray (Bonita), Kirby (Margaret), Barney (Jackie), and Ed ( Mary). Ceil is further survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Ce il was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Walter Mitchell, a nd second husband Sylvester Vanden Berg; three brothers: Herman, Elmer a nd Leo (October, 2002); two sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law.The funeral service for Lucille will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, Decemb er 9, 2002 at the funeral home chapel with Deacon Donald Newhouse of St. N icholas Catholic Church in Freedom officiating. Interment will be in Ho ly Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna. Friends may call on at the funeral home on Mo nday from 4 PM until the hour of the service.God saw she was getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so he put his ar ms around her and whispered, "Come with Me." With tearful eyes we watch ed her suffer and saw her fade away, and though we loved her dearly we cou ld not make her stay.
