See Image Edward James Monahan. Ma ss of Christian burial was said for Edward James Monahan on May 21st at S t. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Longmont. Burial was at Mt. Olive t. Monahan, of Central City, died May 17th, 1985, in St. Joseph Hospita l. He was 72. He was born December 2nd, 1912, in Denver, and spent mo st of his life in Denver and Central City. He married Lavina Rose Gun dy on May 11th, 1939, in Denver. Monahan was an aluminum salesman. He w as a volunteer firefighter in Central City and a member of the Elks. Survi ving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, the Rev. Joseph Monahan and P atrick Monahan, both of Longmont; a daughter, Bernardine Ashford of Atlant a, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
