    Gladys E. Kuhn, age 88, entered into eternal life surrounded by her loving family at Good Shepherd Home, Seymour, on Monday, July 26, 2010. She was born in Kaukauna, on June 12, 1922, the daughter of the late William and Anna (Green) Gilkey. On November 14, 1942, she married her husband of 51 years, Eldor "Al" Kuhn, who preceded her in death. Gladys was a lifelong resident of Kaukauna. She graduated with the class of 1940, where she participated in track, glee club and was a drum majorette. She was a life-long member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and Christian Mothers Society and worked for funeral dinners for over 50 years.
    Gladys is survived by her four children: Barbara (Floyd) Bain, De Pere, John (Mary Gale) Kuhn, Seymour, Sarah (Mark) Morgan, Appleton, and Laura (Robert) Wolske, Lodi, WI; Gladys is also survived by 12 grandchildren: Christopher (Nicole) Bain, Bruce (Bonnie) Bain, Tracy (Joe) Murphy, Melissa (Terry) Brockman, Adam Bain (special friend Bonnie Dietzen), Troy (Rebecca) Kuhn, Tanya (Ryan) Danner, Heather (Jay) Robaidek, Carmen Przybylski, William, Anna and Elizabeth Wolske; and 23 great-grandchildren.
    Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Sally (Cliff) Thiel, a brother, Austin Gilkey, and great-granddaughter, Kennedy Brockman.
    Mass of Christian Burial for Gladys will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2010, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer St.; with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Friends will be received on Thursday at Church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family. 920-766-2099.
    Our family would like to extend a special thank you to Fr. Bob Kabat, Deacon Orvell DeBruin, Dr. Brian Scott, special friends Harold and Jean VandenLangenberg and family, and the entire staff at Good Shepherd Home for their compassionate care shown to our Mother and our family.

    Obituary:
    Adam P. Bain, age 35, of Freedom, passed away unexpectedly at his home following a short illness on Thursday, July 20, 2017. He was born on November 15, 1981, son of Floyd and Barbara (Kuhn) Bain. On October 7, 2011, Adam married Bonnie Dietzen at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom. He graduated from Freedom High School in 2000 and from MSOE in 2005 as an electrical engineer.
    Adam enjoyed taking things apart just to put them back together, just as any good engineer would enjoy doing. He could figure out how just about anything worked. He was currently employed at Foth Engineering in De Pere. Adam was an amateur radio enthusiast and also enjoyed motorcycles. Whether he was working on his cars or doing any other project, his two little boys were his sidekicks. They loved their daddy and spending time with him.
    Adam is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie; his two sons: Aaron, age 4, and Elliott, age 1; his parents: Floyd and Barbara Bain; siblings: Chris (Nicole) Bain, Bruce (Bonnie) Bain, Tracy (Joe) Murphy and Melissa (Terry) Brockman; father-in-law, William Dietzen; brother-in-law, Bill (Erika) Dietzen; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Adam was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Joyce Dietzen; a niece, Kennedy Brockman; grandparents: Eldor and Gladys Kuhn and Hamilton and Elizabeth Bain.
    Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2017, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, W2037 County Road S, Freedom, with Fr. Walter Stumpf officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund will be set up for Adam's children.
