Evers, Marlene (Wittman)Marlene (Wittman) Evers, Appleton. Loving wife, mother, sister and grandmo ther, age 69, died on Tuesday, March 02, 2004 at her home. Marlene was bo rn in Kaukauna on March 24, 1934, daughter of the late Theodore and Cecel ia (Hoffman) Wittman. She married Richard Evers on September 1, 1956. Marl ene was a lover of life who enjoyed fishing and would spend 14 hours a d ay on the shore. She also enjoyed attending auctions and landscaping her l awn, especially with flowers.Marlene is survived by her husband, Richard; two sons: Troy and Todd (Mich ele) Evers; her brother, Marvin (Mary Ann) Wittman; grandchildren: Alliso n, Carolyn and Matthew; and her beloved dog, Teddy Bear.The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, March 5, 2004, at S T. THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1810 North McDonald Street, Appleton, wi th Rev. Gerald Falk officiating. Visitors will be received at the chur ch on Friday, March 5 from 10 a.m. until the time of service. The interme nt will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Appleton.The family would like to extend special thanks to THEDACARE At Home Hospic e, especially Kelly, for their loving care of Marlene.
