    Obituary:
    Joseph J. Welhouse, 85, Green Bay, died Sunday, March 11, 2007, at a local nursing home. He was born August 10, 1921, to the late Joseph H. and Johanna (Wyngaard) Welhouse in Little Chute, Wisconsin. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II, receiving the following ribbons: American Area, European-African-Middle Eastern (3 stars), Asiatic-Pacific Area (3 stars), Good Conduct and Purple Heart. He was on two separate destroyers, the Duncan and the Shubrick. The Duncan was sunk first and most of the men on that ship were lost, and Joseph survived after swimming most of the night and was rescued at dawn. A 500# bomb was dropped on the Shubrick and they had to be towed back to New York from Sicily. On September 3, 1949, he married Lucille M. Weber in Appleton, Wisconsin. Joseph was a partner in Palisades Construction Co., Appleton; the owner/operator of Badger Redi-Mix Concrete; Concrete Materials Inc.; Concrete Supply Co. and Trico Co., Inc. in Green Bay; Bonduel Sand and Gravel and Slab City Ready Mix in Bonduel; part owner of Seymour Tile and D & J. Trucking, Seymour, WI; Advance Mixer Corporation in Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Pioneer Materials in Fond du Lac, WI. He was a contributor to the Green Bay Montessori School and he was a member of the Green Bay Yacht Club.
    Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Lucille; his five sons and four daughters-in-law: Gereon Welhouse, Germantown; Mark and Loraine "Lorie" Welhouse, Denver, Colorado; James and Karen Welhouse, Paul and Lauri Welhouse, Cathy (Welhouse) Kirschling, all of Green Bay; and Steve Welhouse, Orlando, Florida; thirteen grandchildren; and special friend of Daniel's, Sulinda DiPietra of Tampa; two brothers, five sisters and a brother-in-law, Donald (Marian) Welhouse and Thomas (Carol) Welhouse of Green Bay; Elizabeth (Peter) Cortes, LaCanada, CA; Verone Berg, Winchester, WI; Lucina Iles, Saugus, CA; Ann (Norman) Burton, Appleton, WI; Janice (Joseph) Boucher, Albuquerque, NM; Orrin Hendricks, Menasha, WI; and many nieces and nephews.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Randal and Daniel; one brother and two sisters, Roman (Virginia) Welhouse, Mary Ann (Orrin) Hendricks and Blanche (Frank) Ziewacz; and a daughter-in-law, Susan Welhouse.
    Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, at Lyndahl Funeral Home where a wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. Thursday, March 29, at St. Agnes Cath-olic Church where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m., with the Rev.     Obituary:
    Verone "Ronne" Berg, age 92, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Care Partners Assisted Living, Appleton. She was born in Appleton, February 20, 1925, the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Wyngaard) Welhouse. Ronne married John M. Berg in 1946. John preceded her in death in 1970. Ronne lived most of her later life in Vilas County on Rainbow Lake, Winchester, Wisconsin.
    Ronne was an avid reader, captivated by knowledge her entire life. She was sharp-witted and articulate embellishing stories with family history, current political issues, and a unique sense of humor. She also loved woodworking, building her first home with her late husband John in Appleton, and remodeling her second home on Rainbow Lake with her companion of 34 years, Sue Elizabeth Krieck.
    Survivors include Sue; her three sons: Stephen (Sue) Berg, Appleton, Jeffrey (Judi) Berg, Appleton, and Matthew (Debra) Berg, Menasha; one brother, Tom (Carol) Welhouse; six grandchildren: Kelly (Jason) Berg, Bill Kloiber, Scott (Julie) Kloiber, Eric (Michelle) Berg, Michael (Tegan) Berg, and Christine (Kris) Berg; and seven great grandchildren: Will Kloiber, Alex Nellis, Jacob Berg, Mason Berg, Abby Kloiber, Nicholas Berg and London Berg. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives who will deeply miss her.
    A memorial service for Ronne will be 11:00 AM, on Wednesday June 21 at Valley Funeral Home, with Deacon Don Schultz officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday morning beginning at 10:00 until the 11:00 AM service.
    Ronne's family and Sue Krieck wish to thank Care Partners Assisted Living in Appleton for providing such compassionate care during her residence with them since December, 2016. Also her Compassus Hospice RN Heidi Brown and care representative Craig Saletine will remain in our heartfelt gratitude forever.
    We also wish to thank the friends and neighbors in the Rainbow Lake area who cared for her many needs over the years.

    Obituary:
    Donald "DJ" Welhouse, 85, Green Bay, passed away at home on Friday, February 21, 2014. He was born on August 20, 1928 in Little Chute, Wisconsin to the late Joseph and Lucina Welhouse. He married Marian Weitzel on July 28, 1951 in Sauk City. Don also served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict.
    Don was the co-owner of D & J Trucking and the owner of Seymour Ready Mix & Tile. He later was the manager at Bonduel Sand & Gravel and also worked at Jones Motor before his retirement. Don was a past member of the Seymour Lions Club and the Green Bay Elks Club. He enjoyed hunting, tending to his prize roses, golf and cross word puzzles. His greatest pleasures came from the times spent with his family and enjoying his White Zinfandel.
    Surviving are his two sons, Douglas (Tori), Dirk (Jackie) Welhouse; three daughters, Deborah (Michael) Schreiner, Diane Welhouse (David DiNatale), Darla Welhouse; daughter-in-law, Carol Welhouse; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jonathan (Amy), Matthew, Mae (Derek), Devin (Jessica), Lydia (Nick), Cody, Sadie, Emily, Jim, Bella, Clara, Fergus (Danielle), Michelle (Dan), Rob, Sean and Shannon; six great-grandchildren, Hayden, Mackenzy, Brie, Zach, Nick and Euan. Don is further survived by his brother Tom (Carol) Welhouse; his two sisters Verona Berg and Lucy Iles; and many nieces and nephews.
    In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Marian; his oldest son, David; an infant daughter, Danette; two brothers and five sisters.
    Visitation will take place Friday, February 28, 2014 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue from 3:00 pm until 5:30 pm. Funeral service will take place at 5:30 with Deacon Jim Gauthier officiating. Full military honors will follow. Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.     Annette F. Burton,78, Appleton, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2009, at Appleton Medical Center, surrounded by her family. Ann was born on October 20, 1930, in Appleton to the late Joseph and Lucina (Wyngaard) Welhouse. She married Norman J. Burton on October 15, 1955, in Waukegan, Illinois. Ann enjoyed flowers, gardening, fishing, crafting and was an avid Packers fan.
    Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Norman; her sons, Kevin Burton, Appleton; Kelly (Stacie) Burton, and their children Spencer and Sawyer, Appleton; Kurtis (Leanne) Burton, Wrightstown; and Kris Burton (special friend, Jodi Skeens), Appleton; her step-son, Greg (Peggy) Burton, Appleton; her brothers, Donald (Marian) Welhouse, Green Bay, and Thomas (Carol) Welhouse, Green Bay; her sisters, Verona Berg (special friend, Sue), Winchester; Lucina Iles, Saugus, California; and Janice Boucher, Elephant Butte, New Mexico; her brothers-in-law, Orrin Hendricks, Menasha, and Peter Cortes, La Canada, California; and her sister-in-law, Lucille Welhouse, Green Bay. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Roman Welhouse; and her sisters, Elizabeth Cortes, her twin-sister Mary Ann Hendricks, and Blanche Ziewacz.
    Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, Appleton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. A memorial has been established in her name. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff in ICU at AMC and t e staff at Rennes Health Care Center for their loving care.

    Daid J. Welhouse, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Friday July 26, 2013, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, after a brief illness, with his family at his side. The son of Donald and the late Marian (Ryan) Welhouse was born on October 9, 1952, in Puerto Rico. He graduated from Premontre High School in 1970, and later from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1974 with a degree in Engineering. On June 12, 1976, he married Carol Zillmer at SS. Edward and Isidore Church.
    Dave worked for the Federal Aviation Administration for 38 years as a Project Manager. His work involved a lot of travel; throughout his tenure, his family live in Roselle, IL; Honolulu, HI; and Belleville, MI. Dave was a proud part-owner and avid fan of the Green Bay Packers. His hobbies included photography, reading, and spending time with family. He loved "anything aviation", and making people laugh.
    Survivors include his loving wife, Carol, Belleville, MI; two sons, Jonathan (Amy) and Matthew; a granddaughter, Mackenzy; his father, Donald, Green Bay; two brothers, Douglas (Tori) Welhouse, Suamico, and Dirk (Jackie) Welhouse, Abrams; three sisters, Deborah (Michael) Schreiner, Tucson, AZ, Diane Welhouse (David DiNatale), Suamico, and Darla Welhouse, Green Bay; his mother-in-law, Joyce Proctor, Anston; three brothers-in-law, John (Christine) Zillmer, Anston, Don (Sheri) Zillmer, Florida, and Jim (Jean) Zillmer, Kaukauna; three sister-in-law, Gail (John) Okray, Green Bay, Mary (Dean) Hille, Pulaski, and Judy (Todd) Kwansy, Oshkosh; and aunt, Beth Steinbrecher, Anston; uncle, Donald (Shirley) Steinbrecher, Howard; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
    He was preceded in death by his mother, Marian, on February 9, 2013, an infant sister, Dannette, his father-in-law, Ralph Zillmer, a brother-in-law, Dale Zillmer, uncles Jim Ryan and Earl Steinbrecher, and a very special cousin, Ann Steinbrecher.
    Friends may call at SS. Edward and Isidore Church, 3667 Flintville Rd, Green Bay, from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation continues after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church, Fr. Dave Hoffman presiding. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
