Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10: 30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, De Pere with the R ev. Conrad Kratz, O. Praem, officiating. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemeter y, De Pere. Complete obituary information will be published in the Sund ay edition of this newspaper. In lieu of other expressions of sympath y, a memorial fund has been established.

    Ruby (Lamers) Turriff Van Handel, 87, De Pere, died Friday morning, Februa ry 6, 2004, at a local hospital, surrounded by her family. The daught er of the late Richard and Ann (Van Lanen) Lamers was born October 17, 191 6, in Wrightstown. On May 2, 1935, she married Robert Turriff in Wrightsto wn and he preceded her in death on July 14, 1977. They had 42 happy yea rs of farming in the Town of Lawrence. She married Barney Van Handel on De cember 28, 1979, and he preceded her in death on March 9, 1989. She w as a member of the St. Boniface Christian Mothers, Homemakers Club and w as an avid Packer fan.Survivors include six children and their families, Anna Jane Diedric h, De Pere (formerly of Kaukauna); Richard Turriff, Florida, and his child ren Dean (wife, Amy and children, James and Melissa), Dennis (wife, Sand ra and children, Robbie and Brandon), Donny (wife, Jill), and Danny (wif e, Rene and children, Kali and Devlin) Turriff, Linda Turriff, De Pere, a nd her daughter, Elizabeth, Mary (Turriff) Lundin, special friend, Rola nd Sipiorski, and her daughter, Shelby Lundin, De Pere; Marcel Turriff, h is wife, Debbie and their children, Ryan and Adam Turriff, De Pere; and Fr ank Turriff, and his wife, Tracy, and their children, Ben, Kelsey, Bren t, and Jamie, De Pere; siblings, Gordon Lamers, Lyle and Helen Lamers, Ge ne and Delia Lamers, Jane and Ves Vosters, Paul and Helen Lamers, Mary a nd Jerry Nackers, Rose and Francis Schmidt, Fran and Bob Haen, Emily and G ordon Vander Wyst, and Marcel and Marilyn Lamers.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Turriff and Barney Van H andel, son-in-law, Leo Diedrich, daughter-in-law, Diane Turriff, and siste r-in-law, Mary Lamers. In addition, she was preceded in death by Robert 's family, Rose and Norman Bain, Mary and Bill Rottier, and Ellen Lamers.Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere, fr om 4 to 8 p.m. Monday February 9, 2004. Parish prayer service will be he ld at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Our La dy of Lourdes Catholic Church, De Pere, until time of service. Mass of Chr istian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Church wi th the Rev. Conrad Kratz, O. Praem, officiating. Burial in Mt.     Richard B. Turriff, 68, Okeechobee, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, in Raulerson Hospital. He was born Oct. 27, 1942, in Lawrence, De Pere, Wis., to Robert and Ruby Lamers Turriff. He was married to Diane Ruth Berg Turriff of Green Bay, Wis., for 40 years until her passing in 2003. He came to Florida from De Pere, Wis., in 1979, residing in Fort Pierce, until 2002 when he moved to Okeechobee. He enjoyed wood-crafting and the outdoors. In addition he assisted Mathew:25, a charitable organization in Okeechobee.
    He is preceded in death by his wife, Diane.
    Survivors include his sons, Dean Richard Turriff (Rebecca Bruner), Marquette, Mich.; Major Dennis Robert Turriff, USAF (Sandra Householder Turriff), San Antonio, Texas; Daniel Leo Turriff, Fort Pierce, Fla.; and Donald Joseph Turriff (Jill Curtis Turriff), Bellbuckle, Tenn.; siblings, Anna Diedrich (Leo), Linda Turriff, Mary Turiff Lundin (Roland Sitorski), Marcel Turriff (Debbie Watermelon Turriff), and Frank Turriff. In addition he is survived by grandchildren, James, Melissa, Robert, Brandon, Amber Lee, Cali, and Devlin.
    A memorial service will be held on Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at 6 p.m. in the Buxton Funeral Home Chapel, 110 NE 5th Street, Okeechobee, Fla. A service in De Pere, Wis., will be held at a later date.
