Genevieve had been employed by St Eli zabeth Hospital and Rose's Rest Home as a nurses aid and by Kimberly Cla rk at the Lakeview Mill. Genevieve enjoyed raising and working with her ra cehorses.     Obituary:
    Evelyn J. Van Schyndel, age 97, Wrightstown, passed away in the loving arms of Shari and Amanda and also surrounded by the rest of her loving family on May 5, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital, Green Bay. The daughter of the late Henry and Minnie (Wellhouse) De Bruin was born April 28, 1918 in Freedom. She married Martin Van Schyndel on March 30, 1937 in Oneida, he preceded her in death on March 4, 2012. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Evelyn enjoyed dining out, playing cards, traveling and especially the last few years her daily rides through the country side with Amanda.
    Martin and Evelyn began their farming career together in the early 1940s. Those two worked together at all the chores around the farm including milking the cows and taking care of the horses which they used for their field work. Evelyn even drove the horses from time to time. Children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren would pay admission to see a sight like that. Over the years the Van Schyndel farm became one of the more progressive farms in the area including having the first milking parlor. Martin and Evelyn worked as a team through all those years. With the passing of Martin 3 years ago, and now Evelyn, the team is back together.
    She will be deeply missed by her five daughters: Helen Lemke, Janie Bowers, Carol (Bill) Ver Hagen, Diane (Bob) Oudenhoven, and Shari (Dan) Nagan; 20 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Robert (Janice) De Bruin, Gordon De Bruin, Harold (Carol) De Bruin, Victor (Jean) De Bruin, Elaine (Casey) Van Cuyk, Judy Menting, Mary Ann De Bruin and Juanita De Bruin, as well as nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
    In addition to her husband, Martin, Evelyn was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Frances; son and daughter in law, Ron Sr. and Mary Van Schyndel; son-in-law, Lloyd Bowers; grandchildren: Danny Oudenhoven, Lyle Bowers, Orv Jr., Mike and Jodi Lemke; great-grandchildren: Tiffany Van Schyndel and Jacob Van Schyndel; brothers and sisters: Melvin (Virgie) De Bruin, Clara (Roman) Simons, and Gen (Henry) Van Schyndel.
    Family and friends may visit at St. Clare Parish-St. Paul Site, Wrightstown, on Monday, May 11, from noon until 2:45pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Evelyn at 3:00pm on Monday with Fr. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Burial in St. Paul Cemetery, Wrightstown.     Dorothy M. Hawley, age 78, of Seymour passed away on December 16, 2011. She was born January 21, 1933 to the late Henry and Laura (Boser) De Bruin.
    Dorothy was born and raised in Little Chute. In February of 1959 she married Tom Hawley. The couple eventually settled in Nichols where they operated Tom and Dorothy's Bar (Tom's Never In) until retirement.
    Sundays were always Packer Sunday for Dorothy. She was a very avid Packer fan and watched the games right up until last Sunday. Go Pack Go!
    Dorothy enjoyed jigsaw puzzles with her friends at Hillside Apartments in Seymour where she had resided for the past 13 years.
    She is survived by her four children: Sherry (Jody) VandeCorput, Hofa Park; Jeff Hawley, Bloomington, MN; David and Charles Hawley, Nichols. Further survived by four brothers: Robert (Janice) De Bruin, Kaukauna; Gordon De Bruin, Carter, OK; Harold (Carol) De Bruin, Pulcifer; Victor (Jean) De Bruin, White Lake, WI; two sisters: Elaine (Casey) Van Cuyk, Combined Locks, and Judy (James) Menting, Little Chute. Also survived by a half-sister Evelyn (Martin) Van Schyndel, Kaukauna; two sisters-in-law: Mary Ann De Bruin, Green Bay, and Juanita De Bruin, Appleton.
    Dorothy was preceded in death by her only grandchild Patty Scheelk; five brothers: Donald, Toby (Pat), Lloyd, Lee, and John De Bruin; half-brother Melvin (Virgie) De Bruin; two half-sisters: Clara (Roman) Simon and Genavieve (Henry) Van Schyndel.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 9 AM until services at 12 noon with Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating. Burial will take place in the South Cicero Cemetery.

    Lloyd DeBruin, 70, Little Chute, passed away Monday, August 17, 2009. He was born August 29, 1938, in Little Chute, son of the late Henry and Laura (Boser) DeBruin. Lloyd was employed at Foremost Foods in Appleton and later retired from Brillion Iron Works. He also was employed at Gelbke Nursery for 20 years and loved working for Paul. Mr. DeBruin was a U. S. Air Force veteran serving his country from 1955 to 1959.     Van Schyndel, Ronald (Butch)Ronald G. (Butch) Van Schyndel. The Lord saw Ron was getting tired and se nt him to be with his lifelong friend on June 7, 2004. Ron was born on Aug ust 19, 1942, son of Martin and Evelyn Van Schyndel. Ron worked very ha rd as a farmer all of his life until his illness took him from his passi on in 1996.     Robert Lance "Bob" Van Schyndel, age 45, of Elcho died unexpectedly June 19 in the Town of Elcho.
    Bob was born on September 16, 1965 in Plymouth, WI to Donna (Wadel) Van Schyndel and the late Robert John Van Schyndel. He married Denise Stevens June 18, 2011 in Elcho,WI. She survives and resides in Post Lake.
    Bob owned and operated a steel fabricating shop, Northern Steel Manufacturing, in Elcho, WI. He enjoyed the work he did and those he worked with. Bob had a passion for his Harley Davidson motorcycle and enjoyed riding it. He also was an avid bow hunter.
    In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his parents Donna and Ron Koski of Pearson, WI; 3 daughters; Natasha, Summer and Trinity, a son Robert John Van Schyndel of Elcho; a granddaughter, Hailey; 6 sisters; Brenda (Dan) Jacklin, Deborah Huff, Maggie Schaeubel, Marion (Mike) Wolf, Diane (Tim) Beattie, and Sherry Culligan; 3 brothers; Rick (Connie) Van Schyndel, Randy (Jamie) Van Schyndel and Ron Van Schyndel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and close friends.
    Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home in Antigo. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Bob's name. Friends may visit on-line at www.strasserrollerfh.com

    Michael ?Mike? Lemke, age 35, of Kaukauna died unexpectedly July 22, 2005, at an Appleton hospital. He was born Sept 24, 1969, in Green Bay to Orville Sr. and Helen (VanSchyndel) Lemke. Mike was an avid outside sportsman and loved to hunt and fish. He was a Wrightstown High School graduate and was employed at Fiberland. Mike will be remembered for his dedication and love for his children and family and will be sadly missed.
    Mike is survived by his wife Jodi and children; Mike?s whole life revolved around his children, Danielle, Andrea, Johnathan, Shania, Mariah and soon to be expected Michaela Cheyanne; his mother; Helen (VanSchyndel) Lemke, paternal father Orville Sr. (Sue) Lemke, brothers and sisters; Kenny (Char) Lemke, Orville Jr. (Karen) Lemke, Laurie (Ted) Grode, Lisa (Joe) Gilson, Randy (Karmen) Lemke, Bobbie (Ron) Otto, Tracy (Mike) Geiger, maternal grandparents; Mart and Evelyn VanSchyndel. Mike is further survived by Jodi?s parents; Tim and Marie Otto, sisters-in-law; Michelle Heckner, Melissa Bottine, Melinda (Aaron) Otto, Sheila Otto and brother-in-law Tim Otto Jr.
    Mike was preceded in death by many loved ones including aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.
    Friends may call at St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown on Monday from 2-7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 7 p.m. Monday at the church with the Msgr. John Schuh officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
    DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home, Wrightstown, is assisting Mike?s family.

    Jacob Michael Van Schyndel, 18, Kaukauna, passed away peacefully following a lifelong, inspirational battle with cancer on Monday, February 10, 2014 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 20, 1995 in Green Bay, son to Ronald and Brenda (Just) Van Schyndel.
    Jacob was a senior at Wrightstown High School, where he managed the football and wrestling teams. He enjoyed fishing and recently became interested in hunting, getting his first bear last year and going on his first pheasant hunt. Jacob also liked going up north to the family cabin. He loved socializing with people and was a very caring young man. Throughout his battle with his illness he wanted everyone to know 'if he could fight cancer this big thing then they could fight minor things. He didn't believe in giving up or taking the easy way out. He had a great work ethic, never afraid to do anything even with his limitations. He liked being involved with people no matter what the circumstances. He loved animals, especially his dogs Scruffy and Herbie. He had great faith and was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Wrightstown.
    Jacob will be deeply missed by his parents, Ron "Butch" and Brenda Van Schyndel; three brothers: Nick, Appleton, Matt and Jon, at home; maternal grandmother, Carol Just, De Pere; great-grandmother, Evelyn Van Schyndel, Kaukauna; aunts and uncles: Sue and Greg Verhagen, Wrightstown, Chris and Tim Trudell, Jeff and Kathie Just, Rod and Tami Just, Tim and Missy Just, all of De Pere; Becky and David Pytak, Hollandale, Brian and Amy Van Schyndel, Kaukauna, Kristy Van Schyndel (Godmother), Kaukauna, Kevin (fiancé-Anna) Van Schyndel (Godfather),Wrightstown; Godparents, Ken (Char) Lemke, Wrightstown; and many cousins and countless friends.
    He was preceded in death by his sister, Tiffany Van Schyndel; maternal grandfather, Roger Just; paternal grandparents, Ron and Mary Van Schyndel; great-grandparents: Ray and Helen Meulemans, Martin Van Schyndel, Helen and Ernest Treichel, and Sadie and Harold Just.

    To Jacob:
    I will always remember your laugh no matter how dark the times were. You've always been helpful and insightful. I will never forget the things you've said to lift my spirits with genuine care and love, but not only to me, to anyone you met. Your personality was very warm and welcoming. We are very proud of you. I hope you were half as proud of me. You have changed my life and I owe you a lot. You have never let me down and were always there for me. I love you and will miss you every day. I wouldn't change a thing. Nick
    You were our little brother. We should have been the one teaching you about life, but instead you taught us so many more invaluable lessons we will never forget.     You were young, selfless and a great brother. You always put others ahead of yourself just to make them happy. You loved sports and were always on the sideline cheering everyone on. You were always in my corner for wrestling and always helping me through my struggles. I will always miss you but will never forget you. Jon
    I love you so much. Every time I cast a pole, clean a fish, look at your bear in your room, I will miss you but will know you are there with me remembering the times we had together. I will miss you and love you always. Dad
    I have watched you go through so much throughout your life with all your doctor appointments, treatments, and surgeries, but also I watched with great pride you accomplish things that no one ever thought you could. You taught me so much. Somehow you gave me the strength to help you through everything. When I would say I wished I could go through this instead of you, you would tell me you wouldn't want me to go through it and you could handle it and you did. You never felt sorry for yourself. I always worried there would come a day that God would take you to heaven, but prayed that day would never come. Now you have no limitations. I will miss your daily hugs and 'Love You Mom.' Thank you for being such an amazing son. I am so proud to be your mom. My heart is breaking knowing I have to let you go, but I know you are at peace now. You are my special angel! Love Mom.
    Family and friends may call Monday, February 17, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Wrightstown. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at church from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of funeral service at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Matthew Vik officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.     Our family extends a special thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who through their amazing care and determination were able to give us 18 wonderful and memorable years with Jacob and to Pastor Vik for always listening, encouraging and strengthening Jacob's faith. We would also like to thank all our friends and family for their love and support who made it possible for us to focus on helping Jacob throughout his lifelong fight with cancer
