    Darboy - Donald R. Mader, age 83, died on Sunday, December 12, 2010, at Oakridge Gardens. He was born June 26, 1927, in the Town of Harrison to the late William and Amelia (Hartzeim) Mader. Don was a WWII Army Veteran serving in Germany 1945 to 1947. On September 29, 1951, he was united in marriage to the former Phyllis Erickson in Sheboygan Falls, WI. Don was employed at Kimberly-Clark for over 40 years until his retirement. He loved golfing on Thursdays with his friends and was proud of his hole-in-one. Don enjoyed playing a good game of cribbage. He was also known as "The Mayor of Darboy". Don enjoyed family cookouts and sitting around the campfire with the family. As Don would say "What's the Ma-der for you."
    Survivors include his wife Phyllis; three daughters: Kathy (Pat) Vogel, Suzanne (Scott) Fairchild, and Cindy (Joe) Betters; five sons: Donald "Duke" (Janet) Mader, Keith Mader, Gilbert "Gilly" (Kathy) Mader, Randy Mader, and Scott (special friend Nikki) Mader; 13 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Roger and Donna Geurden; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Jason Mader, a daughter-in-law, Karla Mader; a sister, Laverne (Les) Kasten; six brothers and sisters-in-law: Ralph (Marie) Mader, Lawrence (Linda) Mader, Cyril (Eleanore) Mader, Bob (Flo) Mader, John (Helen) Mader, and Arlon (La Verne) Mader; and his mother and father-in-law: Gilbert and Helen Erickson.
    The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2010, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH at Holy Angels Church, W2796 Highway KK, Darboy with Fr. Dave Beaudry officiating. Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 15, 2010, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna with a Parish Prayer service at 7 p.m. concluding the evening. Friends may call again directly at church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. Burial will take place in Holy Angels Cemetery in Darboy.
    The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Oakridge Gardens and Affinity Hospice.
    Dad you cheated death so many times in your life I always thought God had a special plan for you! Now I know his plan all along was to be there for us as our father. Till we meet again.

    Beeper "Keith" G. Mader, Darboy, age 58, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, due to sepsis. He was born September 17, 1956 in Appleton, son of Donald and Phyllis (Erickson) Mader. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, cooking and Special Olympics. Beeper also loved to decorate for Christmas, loved to travel the surrounding areas on his bicycle, yard work and caring for his flowers. Beeper was proud to be his mother's best friend, helper and chief of the house after his father died. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and Special Olympics.
    He is survived by his mother, Phyllis; brothers and sisters-in-law: Donald "Duke" (Janet) Mader, Gilbert "Gilly" (Kathy) Mader, Randy Mader, and Scott Mader (special friend Nikki Nienhaus); sisters and brothers-in-law: Kathy Vogel, Suzanne (Scott) Fairchild, and Cindy (Joe) Betters; 16 nieces and nephews; 11 great nieces and nephews; aunt and uncle, Roger and Donna Geurden; many cousins and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Donald in 2010, a nephew, Jason Mader, a great niece, Grace Marie, a sister-in-law, Karla Mader, aunts and uncles.
    Memorial Mass for Beeper will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Holy Spirit Parish at Holy Angels Church, Darboy with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating. Friends may call directly at church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
