    Marjorie Meulemans, 98, 509 Cedar St., Wrightstown, died peacefully in her sleep Friday, October 27, 2006, at Parkside Care Center, Little Chute. The daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Schumacher was born Sept. 22, 1908, in Little Chute. Marjorie was married to Bernard Meulemans at St. John's Church in Little Chute on October 7, 1930, and the couple enjoyed 66 years together. He preceded her in death in 1996. Marjorie was a lifetime active member of St. Paul's Church in Wrightstown and past president of the Christian Mother's Society. She assisted her husband as bookkeeper in the plumbing and electrical business of Meulemans Electric. When Bernard retired in 1970, she continued as bookkeeper into her 90s for her son, Roger, who took over the business. She bowled until she was 80, enjoyed reading and playing cards with the Golden Agers, and watched every Packer game. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
    She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her children Fr. Carl Meulemans, Maryknoll, NY, Roger and Delores Meulemans of Wrightstown, Darrell and Belva Meulemans, Jericho, VT, June and John Reiter, Nekoosa, WI, Dennis and Sandy Meulemans, Lake Forest, IL, and a daughter-in-law Lillian and Robert Tennessen, Little Chute, 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marian Wilz, her step-brothers, Bill and Tony Gloudemans, sisters-in-law, Margaret Schumacher, Jacquelyn "Jackie" Gloudemans, Valeria Gloudemans, brother-in-law Ted Van Handel and Bernard's sister, Rita Schampers, and sisters-in-law Evelyn and Dorothy Meulemans.
    Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, a baby brother Phillip, her husband, two sons: Byron and Curtis, a daughter Noella, and a grandson, David Meulemans, her sister Elizabeth "Toots" Schumacher, brothers: Willis, Ed, and Bob, and step-brothers: Joe, Rich and Pete Gloudemans, step-sisters: Elizabeth "Lizzie" Van Handel, Anne Schumacher, Margaret and Florence Gloudemans, Millie Schumacher, Martha Diedrick, and Verna Gloudemans; her brothers-in-law: Herman, Ben, and Adrian Meulemans, and sisters-in-law: Ceil Bushmaker, Delia Vande Hey, Rose Brittnacher, Fay Van Eperen, Agnes Gerrits, and Colleta Verbeten.
    Mass of the Resurrection for Marjorie will be held on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006, at 4:30 pm at St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown. Fr. Carl Meulemans, Marjorie's son, will be principle celebrant with the Msgr. John Schuh, Msgr. Roy Klister and Fr. Robert VandeHey concelebrating. Friends may call at the church Thursday from 1:30 until the time of the Mass. A memorial fund has been established.

    Marian M. Wilz, Menasha, age 89, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2007, at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. Marian was born January 24, 1918, in Little Chute, the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Molitor) Schumacher. She lived on a farm which is now Little Chute High School. Marian married Joseph J. Wilz on May 29, 1940, at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute. He preceded her in death on October 3, 2005. Marian was a basketball player in high school. She loved music, and dancing and she was very social. She enjoyed the outdoors, flowers, birds, the lake and hunting and fishing, whether she wanted to or not. She rooted for the Packers. Marian was a woman of many talents, but her main profession was her loving family. Marian was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha.
    Marian is survived by her seven children; Jean (Donald) Stelter, Florida; Judy (Bob) Ciske, Eau Claire; Nancy (Ron) Leskowicz, Appleton; JoAnn (Jim) Siehr, Appleton; Chuck (Jan) Wilz, Neenah; David (Debbie) Wilz, Stevens Point; Susan (Rick) Haegele, Green Bay; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two step-brothers: Toni and William Gloudemans; a step-brother-in-law, Ted Van Handel, two step-sisters-in-law: Jacqueline and Valerie Gloudemans.
    Marian was preceded in death by three brothers: Willis (Anne), Ed (Millie) and Robert (Margaret) Schumacher; and two sisters: Elizabeth Schumacher and Marjorie (Bernard) Meulemans.
    She was also preceded in death by her step-brothers and step-sisters; Elizabeth Van Handel, Martha (Elmer) Diedrich, Pete (Valerie) Gloudemans, Florence Gloudemans, Verna Gloudemans, Richard Gloudemans, Joe Gloudemans, John (Margaret) Gloudemans.
    Funeral services for Marian will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2007, at 11:30 a.m., at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second St. Menasha, with Father Paul Radetski officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday evening, February 28, 2007, at the Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee St., Menasha, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again at the church on Thursday morning, from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of the funeral mass. There will be a prayer service held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, from 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
    Marian's family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to the nurses and staff at St. Paul Elder Services for their loving care and compassion given to our mom, Marian.

    Funeral services were held at St. John's Little Chute for Brian Meulemans, 26, a worker at Thilmany pulp and Paper Company, who was fatally injured Saturday morning when the tow motor he was operating crashed through the side of a truck and fell over, pinning him. He was rushed to Kaukauna Community Hospital where he died about six hours after the accident. He had been employed at Thilmany for four years.

    Michael John Reiter, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on July 29, 2015 after suffering a heart attack. He was born December 28, 1966, in Appleton, Wisconsin, and lived in Little Chute until his marriage to Christine Benoit on October 15, 1994. They then lived in Appleton and most recently resided in Menasha. Together they have three beautiful children: Abby (17), Hope (14) and Josh (12). He was a very loving father and enjoyed sharing his love of nature with his children. Mike was currently employed at L & S Electric in Appleton. He was an avid musky fisherman, deer hunter and was a member of the C&R Musky Club.
    In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his parents John and June of Rome, Wisconsin; his siblings: Amy (Brian) Koch, Matt and Adam; nephew and niece, Sam and Alayna Koch; his father and mother-in-law, Phil and Betsy Benoit of Appleton; brother-in-law Andrew (Andrea) Benoit of Lee's Summit, Missouri; nieces Taylor Benoit and Sydney Dyke along with numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
    Visitation for Mike will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at First United Methodist Church of Appleton (corner of Drew and Franklin) from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm followed by a memorial service officiated by Rev. Markus Wegenast. In lieu of flowers, the Michael Reiter memorial fund has been established for the children at Community First Credit Union (1-920-830-7200). Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
