She had also worked as a book keeper for Merced Floral for 18 years. Mrs. Gagnon is survived by her moth er Leona Davies of San Diego, a sister Jeane Perna of San Diego, and a nep hew, Lawrence Perna of San Diego. She was preceded in death by her husban d, Delmer "Frenchie" Gagnon in 1984. No services have been planned. Cremat ion will take place and the ashes scattered over the Sierra Nevada Mountia ns.

Hi Jay, In going through some of my late mothers things, I came across a 2003 letter from you to her regarding your genealogy efforts. I was wondering if you still were pursuing this project and if so how your efforts were going. I knew of your correspondence with my mother Jeane, but the last two years of her life were difficult for her to say the least and I did not have your email until I finally went through some papers that I had boxed up after her death and now over three years later am finally going through.
Also, I wanted to ask you if you had, during your research, uncovered any information about my grandfather, Merlin Davies and his family. I know of some information that my mom and Aunt Maxine passed down, but would like to know if there is anything more substantial out there as he and I were very close until his death.
