    Obituary:
    Scott Vanden Boogaard, age 73, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, November 23, 2010. Scott was born in the town of Buchanan, son of the late Edward and Etta (Wildenberg) Vanden Boogaard. He was a 1956 graduate of the Kimberly High School, and on June 14, 1960 married the former Rosemary Menting in Combined Locks; she survives. For over forty-two years, Scott worked at the Kimberly Mill, but also operated a farm and ran a milk route. He was not a stranger to a hard day's work. He enjoyed his farm, Friday fish frys, camping, and country music festivals.
    He is survived by his wife of fifty-years: Rosemary Vanden Boogaard of Darboy; four sons and their families: Jeff (Mary) Vanden Boogaard of Darboy and their sons Jesse (Carrie) and Jay and his special friend Sarah; Ron (Rhonda) Vanden Boogaard of Hilbert and their daughters Danielle and Erin; Dan (Sue) Vanden Boogard of Darboy and their children Amanda, Trent, and Paul; and Brad Vanden Boogaard of Appleton, his fiancé¥ Jeanne, and their children Matt, Brett, Andy, Samantha, and Katelyn. There are ten great-grandchildren: Inara, Tyler, Amber, Krystina, Kayla, Alexis, Autumn, Nathaniel, Nicholas, and Aubree; two brothers: Edward (Berdella) Bogard of Darboy and Gene (Ginny) Bogard of Juneau. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Jim (Helen) Vanden Boogard, a brother-in-law Gene (Lois) Menting, and by Rosemary's parents Henry and Betty Menting.
    The funeral liturgy for Scott will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at ST. PAUL: CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 E. Wallace Street in Combined Locks with Fr. Andrew Kysely officiating. Interment will be in Holy Angels Cemetery, Darboy. The family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
    The family would like to thank all of the caregivers who were so wonderful to Scott and his loved ones during his illness. They include the doctors and staff at Appleton Medical Center, St. Paul Elder Services, and especially St. Paul Hospice. We will never forget all that you have done for us.
    Scott was a loving, devoted, and hard-working husband, father, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

    Obituary:
    Lucas R. Peerenboom, age 20, of Tomahawk, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2007, at University Hospital, from injuries suffered as a victim from a hit and run incident in Madison. Luke was born September 12, 1986, in Madison, the son of Dan and Lynn (Vanden Boogaard) Peerenboom. He graduated with high honors from Tomahawk High School in 2005 and was attending Madison Area Technical College.
    Luke is survived by his parents: Dan and Lynn Peerenboom; brother, Cody and sister Kelly, all of Tomahawk; paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Peerenboom, Little Chute, WI; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
    He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Jim and Helen Vanden Boogaard; paternal grandfather, Robert Peerenboom.
    A Celebration of Luke's life will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2007, at the TOMAHAWK UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 1104 School Rd., at Noon with Rev. Rebecca Niese officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. Luke had a passion for life, and especially loved his family, friends and music.
