    Nelessen,Clarence G. Little ChuteAge 82, died Monday, October 7, 2002, at Appleton Medical Center. He was b orn September 24, 1920, in Wrightstown, son of the late Anton and Sophia ( Lamers) Nelessen. Clarence married Cecelia DeBruin October 23, 1941, at S t. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute, where he was a lifeti me member. He was employed at Appleton Papers Locks Mill for 43 years, spe nding most of the time in the maintenance department, until his retireme nt in 1983. Clarence was an honorary member of Union Local 144. He serv ed in the 43rd Infantry Division in the South Pacific during World War I I. Clarence was a member of the Jacob Coppus American Legion, Post #258, L ittle Chute, where he served as Service Officer for many years. He belong ed to St. John Mission Club, Volunteered at the Salvatorian Mission Wareho use and sang in the Resurrection Choir.     Marie A. (Nelessen) Vosters Our beloved mother entered into eternal life pacefully, surrounded by her family on September 27, 2005, at age 82. S he was born on December 18, 1922, to the late Antone and Sophia (Lamers) N elessen in Wrightstown. During WWII, mom worked at Kimberly-Clark. After t he war, on November 15th, 1945, she married Edward J. Vosters. He preced ed her in death on December 25, 2000. Together they farmed in the To wn of Freedom until their retirement in 1975. Mom loved gardening, flower s, baking and cooking for her large family. She was deeply devoted to h er faith and family. She was a member of St. John's Parish, Little Chut e, where she sang in the Resurrection Choir and volunteered at the Missi on Club.Mom will be deeply missed by her children: Vyonne (deceased) (Bob) VanDenB osch, Freedom and their children Kim, Doug, Nicole, and Natalie. Paul (Rut h), Appleton and their children, Julie, Andrea, and Nathan. Erv, Hollandto wn, and his daughter Sarena; Shirley (Lee) VanderLoop, Freedom and their c hildren, Chad, Christa, Tonya, Craig and Adam.     Robert W. Nelessen, 83, of Kaukauna died Thursday June 23, 2011 at his residence.
    He was born October 2, 1927, son of the late Anton and Sophia (Lamers) Nelessen. Robert married Marian Hendricks on June 1, 1950.
    Robert worked at Giddings & Lewis as a crane operator for 30 years until his retirement in 1986. He then worked at St. Paul Home in the maintenance department, and later at PSA. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna, and a member of their Queen of Peace Choir. Robert delivered Meals on Wheels. He enjoyed boxing; he was founder of the Kaukauna Boxing Club. He loved to fish, play games especially cards, camping, turkey hunting, and farming, he planted trees on 7 acres of land and would be out there trimming and caring for all of them. Robert enjoyed helping others, he was a great handyman, and enjoyed remodeling, he often said, "you don't throw anything away, you fix it", and "you don't hire someone, you do it yourself". He was an avid Packer and Brewers fan, he always listened to Christmas music, always had a smile, and had a great sense of humor. Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and son.

    Nelessen, James A. "J im"James Anthony Nelessen, 76, Appleton, went into the arms of Jesus, his Sav ior on Sept. 30, 2006, surrounded by his family, after a courageous batt le with cancer. Jim was born on Nov.25, 1929, in Wrightstown, to the la te Anton and Sophia Nelessen. He married Rita Schmidt on May 21, 1953. J im was employed at Thilmany Pulp and Paper, Kaukauna for 37 years. He w as a Color Chemist prior to his retirement in 1990. Jim proudly served h is country during the Korean War as a staff sergeant in the Army. Jim w as a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #7692, Freedom, Wi s. He was also a member of the Military Honors Team. One of Jim's passio ns was being an advocate for unborn children. He felt our troops fight f or the rights of all, including the unborn. Jim was a man of great fait h. He was a member of Christ the Rock Community Church where he participat ed in men's, marriage and prayer ministries. He also shared his faith thro ugh words and deeds. Jim loved serving others and was always available wi th his time and talents. Any task he knew how to do, he was willi ng to do for others. His impact of caring and serving others through mus ic will be remembered forever. He taught himself how to play the guit ar at age 35. Whether around a campfire, a relative's wedding receptio n, a Bible study, a nursing home or a party, Jim was ready to bring j oy to the occasion. In December 2005, Jim and Rita made a recording of the ir favorite music (Precious Memories) for their family. For many years J im and Rita owned a cabin (Rainbow Acres) in Fence, Wis. Many memories we re made with family and friends. For the past 16 years they wintered in Mc Allen, Texas. They enjoyed traveling and their last trip was in July wh en they visited their Winter Texan friends in the Midwest and Canada. J im loved life. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.     Dolores Catherine Van Camp, 84, of Freedom, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease on Friday, July 8, 2016. She was born on October 10, 1931, daughter of the late Antone and Sophia (Lamers) Nelessen. On September 3, 1952, Dolores was united in marriage to Eugene Van Camp at St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown. Together they raised their 11 children on the family dairy farm in Freedom. Throughout her life, Dolores enjoyed working the family farm side by side with her husband Eugene, and their children. She loved being a Mom by always putting family first over herself. She was always able to see the good in everyone and accepting of everything no matter what. Dolores was a devoted member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom, was a member of the Christian Mothers Society, and sang in the choir for many years. She loved to bake, sew, work in the garden, bowl, and go camping with family. Her greatest and most memorable trip was to Rome. Dolores was a genuine, hardworking, and faithful woman who will be truly missed. She was a strong caring woman, and her beautiful and courageous soul will live on forever.

    Dolores was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Eugene Van Camp; her parents; a grandson, Kyle Van Camp; a great-grandson, Cooper Wilkinson; brothers: Norb, Urban, Clarence, Eugene, Bob, and Jim Nelessen; sisters: Ruth Van De Hey, Marie Vosters, Milly Newhouse, Eunice Vosters; and many other members of Dolores and Eugene's family.
    Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, W2037 County Road S, Freedom, with Fr. Walter Stumpf officiating. Visitation will be at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, N3972 Columbia Ave., Freedom on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. concluding with a prayer service, and again on Wednesday directly at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.     She was born Feb. 17, 1933, in Wrightstown, daughter of the late Antone and Sophia (Lamers) Nelessen. She married Gordon Newhouse on May 12, 1955, in Wrightstown, sharing 54 years together.
    Before moving to Arizona, Mildred and Gordon were members of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Wrightstown, and then St. Pius X Catholic Church, Appleton.

    Sister Kathleen Catherine Nelessen, CSA died peacefully at Nazareth Court and Center on Friday April 6th 2012 at 3:45 PM. Sister Kathy was born at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton WI on November 29, 1941. She was the first of seven children born to Mary (Van Lanen) Nelessen and Norbert A. Nelessen.
    Sister Kathy entered the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes on September 10, 1964 and made Profession of vows on August 15, 1967. She graduated from St Agnes School of Nursing in December 1968 and ministered as a nurse for the next twenty-two years at various locations including: St. Agnes Hospital, St. Clare Hospital in Monroe, St John Rest Home in Victoria Kansas, St Anthony Hospital, Hospice of the Plains and at St. John Rest Home in Hays Kansas, and the Chippewa Health Center in Lac du Flambeau, WI.
    She served in leadership as a Regional Coordinator for eight years and ministered at St. Francis Home in Spiritual Care for the last five years. For twenty four and a half years, Sister Kathy struggled with cancer yet still continued to minister to those in need with joy and compassion.
    She was preceded in death by her father, Norbert Nelessen, her step father Robert Kessler, and her niece Anne and husband Terry.
    Sister Kathy is survived by her mother Mary, brother Cletus and wife Dianne, her sisters Donna Nelessen, Luella and husband Tom Opsteen, Sharon and husband Chuck Mikkelsen, Cindy and husband Paul Sanders, Carla and husband Paul German and numerous nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her Aunt, Sister Anne Jude Van Lanen CSA, and the Sisters of St. Agnes, with whom she lived, prayed and ministered.
    Visitation will be from 2:30 pm until 7:00 pm with a prayer service at 3:00 pm on Monday April 9th at St Francis Home Chapel, Fond du Lac, WI.
    On Tuesday April 10th, visitation is from 10:00 am to 11:15 am followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am at Holy Family Church, 271 4th St. Way, Fond du Lac, WI. A luncheon will follow.
    Memorials may be directed to the Sisters of St. Agnes Development Office, 320 County Road K, Fond du Lac, WI 54935.
    The Sisters of St. Agnes are grateful to the nurses and staff at Nazareth Court and Center and Hospice Hope for their care of Sister Kathy.

Vy graduated from St. John High School in Litt le Chute in 1964. On April 18, 1968, she married Robert Van Den Bosch in L ittle Chute. Since 1983, Vy was a proud and dedicated employee of AAL. Mu ch of Vy's free time was spent enjoying the company of family and friend s.     Jon Wereley, of Appleton, was greeted into heaven by the open arms of Grandma Lutz on Sunday, April 20, 2014. He was 52. He is survived by his father: David (Phyllis) Wereley; his mother: Sandra (Bill) Van Elzen; sisters Beckie (Jim) Warner and Amy (Marc) Belli; grandmother: Laila "Tommie" Wereley; and his nephew: Kevin (Katie) Wereley.
    Jon was a passionate man; pouring his talents into multiple forms of artwork, including drawing and painting. He was a man of many words; enjoying meaningful conversation as well as possessing a sense of humor like no other. Jon cared deeply for his family and friends. He shared his time, effort, energy and love with those in his life... and truly cherished his connections with others.
    Over the years, Jon enjoyed spending time at the Clare Kiepke Community Outreach Center. He brought beautiful artwork, outbursts of laughter, and honorable competition in pool to the ORC.
    A private family service will be held to celebrate the unique life of Jon, as well as mourn the loss of further opportunities to enjoy his big personality and open heart.

    Chad Vander Loop, 32, Kaukauna, formerly of Freedom, of Vander Loop Auto Body, died Saturday as a result of a snowmobile accident in Pickerel Lake. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and pending.

    Vander Loop, Chad E. (a.k.a. Hulk or Loops)Chad Vander Loop, our beloved son, brother, fiance and friend, entered into eternal life on March 3, 2007, unexpectedly as the result of a snowmobile accident. He died in the arms of his brother. He was born on March 28, 1974, son of Lee and Shirley Vander Loop. Chad attended Freedom High School graduating in 1993 and completed classes in auto body at Fox Valley Tech. Shortly after, he began his own business, Vander Loop Auto Body in Freedom. Chad used his creativity and skill to master the art of body work and painting. With help of Andy Scheibe, he successfully ran his business for almost ten years. To Chad, every day at work was a day of vacation. On June 17, 2006, Chad proposed to his girlfriend of five years, Samantha Flaig. They planned to be married on October 4, 2008. Chad enjoyed NASCAR, snowmobiling and cars. He worked hard and played hard and lived life his own way.
    Chad will be deeply missed by his parents, Lee and Shirley; his fiancee, Samantha, Shawano; his sisters: Christa (Mark) Krueger and their children Mackenna, Connor and Alaina, Appleton; Tonya (Chris) Schmidt and their daughter Brianna, Freedom; his brothers: Craig and fiancee Rosie Vissers, Kaukauna; Adam and fiancee Erin Yanke, Little Chute; his aunts and uncles: Bob (godfather) and Dort VanDenBosch, Freedom; Paul and Ruth Vosters, Appleton; Erv Vosters, Hollandtown; Lloyd and Sue Vosters, Kaukauna; Gordy and Connie Vosters, Kaukauna; Doris and Steve Schuh, Freedom; Greg and Kathy Vosters, Freedom; Connie and Rick Huss, Freedom; Tony and Paula Vosters, Kaukauna; Gerald and Brigitte Vander Loop, Kimberly; Roger and Delores Vander Loop, Appleton; Ken and Mary Vander Loop, Kaukauna; and many cousins and special friends.
    Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents: Hank and Ella Vander Loop, Ed and Marie Vosters; by his aunt and godmother, Vyonne VandenBosch; and by his aunt, Laverne Vander Loop.
    Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom, with Father Dave Hoffman officiating. Interment will be held in St. Nicholas Cemetery. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the mass.
    To Chad's customers who have vehicles at the shop, please allow us a few days, then don't be afraid to call about your vehicles. Andy knows what has to be done, and will be pitching in. We can't replace Chad, but we'll do our best not to let you or Chad down.
    Chad, you are the caring son, fiance and big brother who was always checking up on us and making sure our vehicles were in perfect condition. Your persistence and strong will is what made us love you so much. Chad, why did you leave us before we could say good bye? But then, we could never really say good bye. We all love you so much.

    Kyle Van Camp, 25, of Madison and formerly of Freedom, WI passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 29, 2014. He was born April 25, 1988, son of Lee and Lisa (Zwiers) Van Camp.
    Kyle graduated from Freedom High School, Class of 2006, where he excelled in wrestling and placed at the state tournament. He then attended UW-Lacrosse where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in sports management. Kyle enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting skeet, working for the Madison Mallards, and being favorite uncle to his nephews.
    Kyle could put a smile on anyone's face and somehow lit up every room he walked into. He certainly lived life to the fullest and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Everybody loved Kyle.
    He is lovingly survived by his parents, Lee and Lisa Van Camp; a brother, Matt (Danielle) Van Camp, and their children, Kaeden and Jordy; a sister, Sarah Van Camp; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Ursula Zwiers; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Dolores Van Camp; a very special cousin, Ryan "Rocky" Vosters; aunts and uncles: John (Jeananne) Zwiers, Scott (Diane) Zwiers, Mary (Tom) Wisneski, Michelle (Pete) Leschisin, Susan Van Camp and Charlie Sheppard, Carol (Dave "Fuzzy") Vosters, Wayne (Carol) Van Camp, Mary (John) Van Deraa, Peggy (Elmer) Eiting, Lynn (Tom) Van Zeeland, Patty Van Stralen, Barb (Dave) Strick, Dawn Van Camp and Paul Blair, Brad (Carol) Van Camp, and many cousins and close friends.
