    Doreen "Sweet Pea" Sendzik, 93, passed away at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Ron Hietpas, on Thursday, July 17, 2009, surrounded by her family. The daughter of the late Patrick and Ella (Sullivan) Mc Cabe was born July 5, 1916, in the Town of Lawrence. Doreen's mother died when she was 16 and she raised her seven brothers and sisters. She attended Nicolet High School. Doreen married George Vande Hei at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Wrights-town, and he preceded her in death October 1, 1967. Doreen married John Sendzik on February 10, 1978, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Green Bay. He proceeded her in death on March 14, 2000.
    Doreen was a past member of St. Boniface Christian Mothers and a parish member and choir member at St. Jude Catholic Church. She was a loving mother who enjoyed traveling, canning, and baking.
    Doreen is survived by her children; Bonnie Vande Hei, Lois Vande Hei, Eleanor (Tom) De Groot, Joan (James) Calmes, Steven (Linda) Vande Hei, Melvin (Blanca) Vande Hei, Helen (Ron) Hietpas, Elaine (Fred) De Groot, Mary Haupt and special friend Rick Humphreys; twenty-one grandchildren and thirty-eight great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Delores Mc Cabe; two sisters and two brothers-in-law: Elaine Van Domelen, Clarence Vande Hei, Dorothy Vander Loop, Elmer Kerkhoff.
    She was preceded in death by her two brothers, James and Jack Mc Cabe; two sisters: Betty Vandie and Rita Kerkhoff; two brothers-in-law: George Van Domelen and Henry Vander Loop.
    Family and friends may call from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2009, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1420 Division Street, Green Bay. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the church with Fr. Don Everts, officiating. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

    Bonnie J. Vande Hei, 72 of Green Bay, passed away on Sunday morning December 9, 2012 after a brief illness. She was born September 7, 1940 to the late George and Doreen (McCabe) Vande Hei. Bonnie was a loving and kind person, who touched so many lives, with her beautiful smile and warm hugs. She has been associated with ASPIRO for over 45 years, and will be dearly missed.
    She is survived by her siblings; Eleanor (Tom) DeGroot, Joanne (Jim) Calmes, Lois Vande Hei, Helen (Ron) Hietpas, Mel (Blanca) Vande Hei, Steven (Linda) Vande Hei, Mary Haupt, Elaine (Fred) DeGroot, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents George and Doreen, as well as her step father John Sendzik.
    Friends may call at St. Jude Catholic Church 1420 Division Street in Green Bay on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 3 - 5pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 5pm. Burial will take place next to her parents at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in De Pere. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for ASPIRO.     Lois Vande Hei, passed away due to complications of pneumonia on Friday August 1, 2014. She was born October 25, 1943 to the late George and Doreen (McCabe) Vande Hei. Lois was a loving and kind person, who touched many lives, with her beautiful smile and warm hugs and she will be dearly missed.
    She is survived by her siblings; Eleanor (Tom) DeGroot, Joanne (Jim) Calmes, Helen (Ron) Hietpas, Mel (Blanca) Vand Hei, Steven (Linda) Vande Hei, Mary Haupt, Elaine (Fred) DeGroot, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
    Lois was preceded in death by her parents George and Doreen, her sister Bonnie Vande Hei and niece Terri DeGroot.
    A private memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, August 4, 2014, at Golden Living/Beverly Rehab. Burial will take place next to her parents at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in De Pere. Please go to www.newcomer.com to share memories.

    Theresa (Teri) DeGroot, 50, Green Bay, our little angel left her family to join hands with her heavenly father on December 28, 2012.
    Teri was born May 30, 1962 in Green Bay to Thomas and Eleanor (Vande Hei) DeGroot.
    She was the light of our life and will always be remembered for her cheerful disposition, beautiful smile and never ending hugs.
    She is survived by her devoted parents, Tom and Eleanor DeGroot; two special sisters and their families, Cheryl & Kyle Rentmeester, Kenna, Alexa, Kole and Owen Rentmeester all of Casco; Tami & Mike Tousignant, twins, Reece and Rayne Tousignant, all of Green Bay; older brother, Ric DeGroot, Appleton, WI; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
    Teri was preceded in death by her grandparents; uncles, Dan and John DeGroot; cousin, Ben DeGroot; aunt, Bonnie Vande Hei; and many special friends.
    In lieu of flowers a memorial fund and been established in Teri's name.
    Friends may call from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave. Green Bay.
