    Bowers, Gerald R. "Bowie"Gerald R. "Jerry" "Bowie" Bowers, 70, of Wrightstown died September 16, 20 04 at his cottage in Mountain, WI, with family at his bedside. Jerry was b orn Feb. 2, 1934 in Wrightstown to Elzear and Johanna (Demerath) Bowers. J erry lived in Wrightstown his entire life, but considered his cottage in M ountain to be his home since retiring from White Clover Dairy, Hollandtow n. He married Laverne (Martzahl) on September 14, 1955. On June 14, 19 79 he married Dianne (Snell Pohlman).Jerry is survived by his wife Dianne; his, hers and our children: Barb (Ji m) Schroeder, Gerald J. "Bud" Bowers, Deborah (Al) Rock, Andy (Diane) Bowe rs, Bart (Laurie) Bowers, Beth (Charlie) Hendricks, Brenda Pohlman, Dua ne (Paula) Pohlman, Wanda (Steve) Ritter, Robbie (Lisa) Pohlman, Debbie (T erry) Propson, Idie Herlache, Jackie (Jeff) Luebeck, Lester Bowers and Cha rles Bowers; their grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brothers a nd sisters: Merlin "Butch" (Marleen) Bowers, Marilyn "Sis" (Dave) Fische r, Ethel (Gene) Vande Hey, Joe (Leanne) Bowers, Judy McCormick, Robert "Bo bby" Bowers, Patricia (Phillip) Weber; a sister-in-law, Donna Bowers; brot hers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Lorraine Vanden Bloomer, Phyllis (Earl) Sp ringstroph, Norman (Doris) Snell, Lois Jean (Carleton) Tiedt, Doris (Stanl ey) Felzer, Janice (Wayne) Seegers, Susan (John) Hinchley.He was preceded in death by a son, Myron; his parents; one brother, Dav e; his 1st wife, Laverne and in laws, Patsy Howard and Lester Snell.Friends may call at DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home, 711 Main St., Wrightsto wn on Sunday, September 19, 2004 from 1 to 7 PM.     Gerald "Bud" Bowers, 60, of Crystal Falls, Michigan, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017, at his home, following a battle with mesothelioma. He was born April 16, 1957, son of the late Gerald Bowers and the late Laverne (Martzahl) Bowers.
    Surviving are his siblings and families.
    He is preceded in death by his brother, Myron and a sister, Elizabeth.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Friday, September 22, 2017, from 5:00 pm with a memorial service at 7:00 pm. Burial of cremains in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Seymour. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboetter.com.
    A special thank you to Carol and Brian for all your special care and concern.
    In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established to the Iron County Cancer Unit.
