Obituary:
Mr. James Jansen, age 86, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2009 at his home in Caledonia, WI. Mr Jansen was a veteran of World War II and received numerous medals for bravery and honor as a rifleman serving in Germany, Austria and two other countries abroad. Jim was born and raised in Little Chute, WI.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna; his father, Peter and mother, Margaret; brothers: Edward and Jerome; sisters: Genevieve, Arleen and Evelyn.
He is survived by his daughter, Ms. Audrey Jansen; and brothers: Mark (Sally) Jansen and Marvin (Iowe) Jansen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Services will be on Monday, January 26, 2009, at Miller Reesmaan Funeral Home. Friends and family may call between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. A military funeral will follow at Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery at 2 p.m.
