    Dad
    For many long weeks
    you fought a tough fight
    And now you are resting
    in heaven's warm light.
    We had to decide if
    we should let you go;
It was a difficult thing -
    you have to know,
    But we decided,
    because of our love
    To set you free
    to join mom up above.
    We know this won't
    be our last good-bye
    For you will join Jesus
    in heaven on high.
    And someday too,
    we'll all be there
    Praising Jesus
with the angels, up in the air.
