    Lorraine G. Geurts, age 101, passed away peacefully at Artisan Senior Living in De Pere, WI on Friday, June 17, 2016. She was born in Bellevue on March 12, 1915 to the late Michael and Delia (Liebergen) Heim.
    She married Raymond J. Geurts on July 19, 1932, and they celebrated their 50th Anniversary in July, 1982, just a few years before he passed away on May 11, 1986. They farmed together in Bellevue for many years, and she was a very good seamstress, working for Green Bay Clothing well past retirement age. Also, she will be remembered for all the beautiful hand-tied quilts she made for all her family, relatives, and many friends. She was noted for being the best cook, especially her cookies, rhubarb custard pie and carrot cake.
    Survivors include two sons and daughters -in-law, Donald and Starlyn Geurts, Mountain, WI , Terry and Marlene Geurts, Wabeno, WI, one son-in-law, Michael Dalebroux, Green Bay; and many grandchildren great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren along with one sister, Alice Whitney Danielski and one brother Leo Heim.
    She was preceded in death by one daughter, Trudy Dalebroux, and several grandchildren.
    She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Alma Van Rens-Baye, Evelyn Hyska-Sharp. Loretta Connelly and Erma Geurts; four brothers, Clarence Heim, Richard Heim, Gordon Heim. and Urban Heim.
    Funeral arrangements for Lorraine will be on Thursday, June 23 at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez, with visitation from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM and the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 AM with Bishop Robert Morneau officiating. Lorraine was a Charter Member of Resurrection Parish. DUE TO PARKING LOT CONSTRUCTION AT CHURCH- PLEASE USE THE DELAHAUT STREET LOT. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.     Our sincere thanks to 'everyone at Artisan Senior Living, especially Nancy and her personnel. Everyone is so friendly and caring at Artisan, and "Grandma" Lorraine truly loved all these caregivers. This was a wonderful home for her.
    We also wish to thank Asera Care Hospice, especially Kayla, for stepping in at just the right time and the excellent care given to Lorraine.

    Urban H. "Urby" Heim, 83, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully at his home on March 7, 2006. He was born on June 12, 1922, to the late Michael and Odelia (Liebergen) Heim. Urban married the former Bernice Duquaine at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church June 3, 1944. She preceded him in death on June 13, 2002. He served in the United States Coast Guard during WWII. He was a charter member of the VFW Winiecki Post #9677. Urban was employed by the James River Corp. until his retirement. He enjoyed helping other people, spending time at the cottage at Boulder Lake, antique tractors & threshing machines, cutting wood and making booyah.
    Survivors include his children, Keith (Kay) Heim, Kenneth Heim and special friend, Sharon Mitchell, and Kathleen (Heim) Townley, all of Green Bay; grandchildren, Stacy Heim and special friend, Jim Cropsey, Heather (Scott) Ossmann, Nicole Heim and fiance, Nathan Welsing, Rachel (Matt) Guderyon, April (Keith) Dart, Tory Kolb and fiance, Jared Homme, Bobbi Jo (Jesse) Uelmen, Chris (Jenny) Heim and Cassidy (John) Dittmer; great-grandchildren, Brandon Fuller and Alexis Ossmann, Hailey and Ashton Guderyon, Hunter Dart, Morgan and Maxwell Homme, Matthew and Jacob Vanderleest, Tristan, Maguire and Mackenzie Heim and Natalie Dittmer; three sisters, Lorraine Geurts, Alice Whitney-Danielski and Erma Geurts (his twin); one brother, Leo (Arlene) Heim; one sister-in-law, Lillian Buyarski; many nieces and nephews.

    Erma E. Geurts, 84, De Pere, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family March 31, 2007. The daughter of Michael and Odelia (Liebergen) Heim was born June 12, 1922, in Green Bay. Erma married Arthur Geurts on Sept. 6, 1941, at St. Phillip Catholic Church in Green Bay. He preceded her in death July 7, 1999. Art and Erma owned and operated Geurts' Bar in De Pere for over 30 years. Erma enjoyed couples bowling with Art for many years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Community. Erma was a person of faith and prayed daily for her family and friends. She was an avid Packers and NASCAR fan.

    Dorothy Jane Van Straten, 85, Green Bay, died peacefully, Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at a local hospital. Born in Green Bay, October 28, 1928, she is the daughter of the late Winfred and Alma (Heim) Van Rens. Dorothy married Clarence "Dutch" Van Straten on October 4, 1947, and he preceded her in death on July 1, 1998. She worked as a school bus driver for over 42 years at Laidlaw, primarily the bus to Ann Sullivan Elementary. Dorothy loved times spent up north with her children and grandchildren. She was a lifetime member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church where she volunteered for many years as a lay communion distributor.
    Dorothy is survived by her children, Scott (Stacy) Van Straten of Crivitz, Tim (Janice) Van Straten of Green Bay, and Mark (Michelle) Van Straten of Forestville; daughter-in-law, Barbara Van Straten of Green Bay; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Rita Banta of Green Bay; other relatives and friends.
    Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Gary Van Straten; and brother-in-law, Merrill Banta.

    James Joseph Heim, 72, of De Pere, died peacefully of complications from lung cancer on January 24, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. He was born on February 22,1940 to the late Clarence and Josephine (Renard) Heim and was a graduate of Premontre High School in Green Bay.
    On September 7, 1968, Jim married Patricia Gezella at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay. They soon purchased a home in Wrightstown, and eventually retired in the Town of Lawrence.
    Jim began his manufacturing career at Giddings & Lewis - Bickford in Kaukauna, and went on to serve as the Head of Manufacturing Engineering. In 1986, he acquired Northland Pallet & Box in Suamico; and proceeded to purchase S & M Tool & Production in 1992, which he retained until his retirement in 2004.
    Jim always had a passion for hunting and fishing, and found great joy spending time outdoors. Many, many amazing days were spent fishing the Menominee River or grouse hunting on the beautiful land near the family cabin just outside of Stephenson, Michigan. The cottage was a welcome place for friends and family to visit, whether playing marathon cribbage tournaments at the kitchen table or gathering around the roaring woodstove.
    Jim is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Patricia, and their two children, Craig (Lanora) Heim of Edgerton and Kris (David) Steels of Wrightstown; along with cherished grandchildren, Nina and Espen Heim and Mason Joseph Steels. He is further survived by two sisters, Suzanne (Robert) Rowan and Shirley Shampo and two sisters-in-law, Gloria (Daniel) Siudzinski and Janice Waniger (Mike Wiegand), along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law and father-in-law Cecilia and Florian Gezella; brothers-in-law, James Shampo, Richard Gezella, Donald Waniger and John Gezella.
    Friends and family may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 East Mason Street, Green Bay from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2013. Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
