Obituary:
Jennifer Marie (Wilz) Topel, age 36, died unexpectedly Monday, August 13, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton. Jennifer was born on July 7, 1971, to David and Andrea (Cartwright) Wilz in Appleton. She married Tom Topel on July 20, 1996. Jenny worked at the Paper Valley Hotel for over 10 years as an accountant and part time at Gordman's. She enjoyed camping, fishing and especially shopping and spending time with her family. Jenny also loved her animals, her dog Zoey and her cat Kitty.
Jenny is survived by her husband Tom; her son, Tyler Wilz, her parents, two brothers: Scott (Tina) Wilz, Kaukauna; Chad (Tracee) Wilz, Appleton. She is further survived by her paternal grandparents, Donald and Vivian Wilz, Appleton and many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Jenny was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Gerald and Elayne Cartwright and her aunt Lynne Salzman.
Service for Jennifer will be 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2007, at Valley Funeral Home, with Deacon Rick Simon officiating. Her family will receive visitors from 3 p.m. until the time of service, also at Valley Funeral Home. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family will be establishing a memorial fund in Jenny's name.
