    Robert B. "Copper" Vanderwalker, age 86, of Weyauwega, died on Monday, May 28, 2007, at the Weyauwega Health Care Center. He was born on March 21, 1921, in Winnebago County, Wisconsin, the son of the late Raymond and Alpha (Carlson) Vanderwalker. On October 3, 1952, he married Mary Jensen at First Presbyterian Church in Neenah. Copper worked as a photographer for The Appleton Post-Crescent for 30 years. He was an avid golfer, loved sports and his dogs.
    Copper is survived by his wife, Mary, two sisters, Jean(Claude)Williams, Neenah, Alice(Bruno)Meyer, Washington, a step-daughter, Patricia(Tom)Geibel, Menasha, a step-son, Tom(Darlene)Ales, Larsen, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, Suzanne Schaumann, Menasha, Patricia Lalley, Appleton, Barbara Garcia, Albuquerque, NM, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 1, 2007, at 4:00 p.m. at the Lewin Funeral Home in Fremont. Rev. Alex Tychkin will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

    Obituary:
    Jeanne F. Williams, age 84, of Neenah, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2007. She was born on December 28, 1922, the daughter of the late Raymond and Alpha (Carlson) Vanderwalker. After graduating from Neenah High School in 1940, Jeanne attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She then left school to assist in the war effort of World War II in Dayton, OH. There on June 28, 1947, Jeanne married Claude Williams. After moving back to Wisconsin and raising a family, she attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where she received a degree in Sociology. She was employed with Kimberly-Clark, and was the local Welfare officer in Neenah until her retirement in 1985. After retirement, she and Claude moved to their retirement home they built on Long Lake in Clintonville.
    Jeanne was active in the League of Women Voters, the AARP and the Long Lake Association. She enjoyed rug hooking, needle work, bridge, scrabble and traveling to see friends and family.
    She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Claude; three children: Claude "Tak" (Jean) Williams Jr., England; Debby (Mark) Cruver, Alaska; and Jinny (Steve Meyer) Williams, Middleton, WI; four grandchildren: Amelia Cruver, Baton Rouge, LA; Alex Cruver, Eagle River, AK; Brett and Brianna Meyer, Middleton, WI. Jeanne is further survived by a sister, Alice (Bruno) Meyer, CA; and many friends.
    She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
    A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2007, at 1st Presbyterian Chapel, 200 Church Street, Neenah. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the chapel on Saturday.
