    Lowney, William M.William M. Lowney, age 77 of Oshkosh died at his home with his family at h is side on Thursday, September 8, 2005. Bill was born in the Town of Be ar Creek, on November 24, 1927, a son of William and Helen Nolan Lowney. B ill married Rosemary Young on June 30, 1948 at St. Mary's Catholic Chur ch in Bear Creek.William graduated from Bear Creek High School, and attended St. Norbert Co llege. He was a supervisor with Rockwell Int. and retired in 1991, aft er 30 plus years with the company. Bill was a member of Sacred Heart Catho lic Church. He enjoyed camping, cottage life, and golfing. Bill and Rosema ry spent much time attending children's, grandchildren's and great grandch ildren's sporting activities.Survivors include his wife, Rosemary, Oshkosh; seven children: Ellen (Char les) Hietpas, Little Chute; Dennis Lowney, Mackville; David Lowney, Applet on; Sharon (Mark) Weitz, Oshkosh; Peter (Lynnell) Lowney, Waunakee; Tony ( Deb) Lowney, Oshkosh; and Tricia (Matt) Martell, Oshkosh; a sister, Sr. Ma ry Ellen "Frances" Lowney, of St Francis Covenant in Bay Settlement; 25 gr andchildren: Jennifer (John) Elrick, Sara (Dr. Carl) Peluso, Patrick Hietp as, Erin Hietpas, Tina (Dana) Gross, Kelly (Todd) Vandenberg, Jeff (Stac y) Lowney, Carrie Lowney, Joseph (Kelly) Lowney, Jamie (Clint) Kriewald t, William Lowney, Chris (Tim) Wetzel, Tammy Lowney, Amanda Lowney, Melis sa Lowney, Peter Lowney Jr., Philip Lowney, Ryan Lowney, Morgan Lowney, Ha nnah Lowney, Hope Lowney, Nolan Martell, Avery Martell, Roman Martell, Gar th Martell; 14 great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Sue Lowney, Freedo m; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Lowney, Manawa; two brothers-in-law: Russe ll (Barb) Young, Winneconne; and Gary (Jackie) Young, Scottsdale, AZ. He w as preceded in death by a son, Michael Lowney, and a brother, Leonard Lown ey.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1 025 W. Sixth Ave. Oshkosh) on Monday Sept. 12, 2005 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Th omas Reynebeau officiating. Family and friends may call at Konrad-Behlm an Funeral Home- Westside on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. with a prayer servi ce beginning at 7 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. to the t ime of Mass. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bear Creek. In li eu of flowers, a memorial has been established.A special thank you to our wonderful friends and neighbors for all their s upport, Dr. Michael Knier, Affinity Hospice, and especially Ellen L. and P atsy for their care and compassion.
    We love you and will miss you.
