    Hilliker, Dorothy M.Dorothy M. Hilliker passed away peacefully on June 9, 2004, in Walnut Cree k, CA at the age of 90. Born on October 15, 1913, in Kaukauna, WI, the for mer Dorothy Rutter graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1931. A long-ti me resident of Neenah, WI, Dorothy was devoted to her family and provid ed many years of volunteer service to local PTA's and the Girl Scouts of A merica. She was employed as Bookkeeper and Executive Secretary to the Dire ctor of the Neenah Public Library from 1963 until her retirement in 197 8. Since 1983, following the death of her dear husband, Harlow, Dorothy h as made her home with her daughter's family in Alamo, CA.She was preceded in death by husband, Peter DeBruin, in 1942, and by her h usband, Harlow R. Hilliker, in 1982; sisters, Charlotte Rutter and Marie B ohm; brothers, George, Ambrose, and Anton Rutter; and four nieces and neph ews.Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Hilliker Bausom, and son-in-law, Ga ry Bausom, of Alamo, CA; her son, Patrick Hilliker, and daughter-in-law, B arbara Hilliker, of Milton, WI; grandsons, Jason Hilliker, Drew Bausom, a nd Tyler Bausom; granddaughter, Andrea Hilliker; and numerous nieces and n ephews.riends and family are invited to attend a memorial Mass which will be cele brated at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 23, 2004 at St. Patrick Catholic Churc h, 324 Nicolet Blvd., Menasha, WI; a luncheon will follow in the parish ha ll.     Obituary:
    Orville Peter Rutter, age 84, a former Eland resident, died Friday, November 15, 1985 at the Homme Home of Wittenberg.
    He was born March 4, 1901 in Kaukauna, the son of the late Peter and Helen (Dierks) Rutter.
    On July 6, 1920 Orville was united in marriage to Lena Balthazor in Eland. She survives.
    In addition to his wife, survivors include one son, Gordon Rutter, Roseburg, OR; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held November 18, 1985 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Wittenberg. The Rev. Claude Zabinski, OFM officiated. Interment was in the parish cemetery.

She was born on July 3, 1918, in Kaukauna, t he daughter of the late Ambrose and Margaret (Fox) Rutter. On October 9, 1 949, she married James E. Oberweiser at St. Patrick Church in Menasha. Th ey enjoyed 51 years together. She was a former member of St. Joseph Cathol ic Church in Appleton, being active in the Christian Mothers Society. S he was currently a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Appleton.She is survived by her husband, James E., of Appleton; two sons, Richa rd J. and Donald C.     Kaukauna - Jean Breitbach, age 85, passed away with her family at her side on August 21, 2018, after suffering a stroke. Jean was born at her family home in Neenah, WI, on January 13, 1933 to the late Ambrose and Margaret (Fox) Rutter. She attended St. Pat's grade school and graduated from Neenah High School in 1951. Jean worked in the steno pool at Kimberly Clark, becoming the supervisor of the department. She continued her education by taking night classes at St. Norbert College. Prior to getting married, Jean enjoyed many activities - skiing, fishing, canoeing, tennis, badminton and travel.
    Jean met her husband, Paul, at a party at Lake Winnebago. They were married at St. Pat's Church in Neenah, WI, on August 17, 1963. After beginning a family, Jean was a devoted mother, cooking, cleaning and caring for her family. As the family grew, so did her work load, which she handled with perseverance and strength. The family moved around the state due to her husband's work assignments, creating many fond memories wherever she and her family lived. She was a perfect example of sacrificial love for others.
    Jean was passionate about many causes - she marched at the abortion clinic, was involved in Menasha School Board, and donated to numerous orphanages and missions. Jean frequented estate and rummage sales, looking for items to donate or resell. She began buying and reselling antiques in several consignment shops in order to earn additional funds to use for her charitable giving. One of her annual activities was sewing 40 felt Christmas stockings for distribution to needy children in New York.
    Jean was a strong Christian - she never missed a chance to witness to others about her Lord and Savior. On many occasions, she visited and read the Bible to friends that were sick. Jean loved worshipping her Lord in song her entire life. Worship music played at her bedside in the hospital, which we are sure she enjoyed. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
    Jean is survived by her husband of 55 years, Paul Breitbach; six children: Mark (Susan) Breitbach, Mishicot; Paula (Greg) Meyer, Appleton; Margaret (Chuck) LaFleur, Appleton; Cathy (Mike) Smith, Canton, GA; Chris (Joe) Lamers, Kaukauna; and John (Jan) Breitbach, Greenville; grandchildren; Jennifer Leach, Michelle (Jon) Lassiter, Mike Breitbach, Alyssa, Briana and Christopher Meyer, Meghyn and Catherynn Scheffler, Cade La Fleur, Sabrina and Madeline Smith, Zach, Isaiah and Natalie Lamers, Austin and Nick Breitbach; great grandchildren: George, Cajea, William and Weston; sister: Carol (Don) Burnett; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Jim (Idelle) Breitbach, Jerry (Mary Ann) Breitbach and Norm Heidemann. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her siblings: Marion, Margaret (Jim) Oberweiser, Lawrence (Donna) Rutter and Betty (Roy) Dare; and her sister-in-law, Carlene Heidemann.
    Visitation will be held Thursday, August 23, 2018 at APPLETON ALLIANCE CHURCH (2693 W. Grand Chute Blvd. Grand Chute) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral at 11:30 a.m. The Rev.     Mary Jean Van Lieshout (Weyenberg),69, passed away peacefully at home in Cottage Grove on Sunday, September 29th, after a courageous two year battle with cancer. Her final days and moments were surrounded by family, children and grandchildren.
    Mary was a loving, committed, wife, mother, and grandmother who exhibited tremendous style and grace. She was married to her childhood sweetheart, John M. Van Lieshout, on June 5, 1965. John and Mary celebrated 46 years of marriage before John's passing in November 2011. Together they raised their two children; Amy (Joel) Wick of Cottage Grove; Josh (Teri) Van Lieshout of Sturgeon Bay. Mary was also active in the lives of her four beloved grandchildren; Max, Mary, Arry, and June.
    Mary graduated from Appleton High School in 1962 where she was active in academics and activities achieving membership in the National Honor Society, cheerleading squad and writing for the school newspaper. Mary's deepest passion and strongest commitment was to her family and children; she was an active mother, volunteering in numerous school, church, and community capacities. Professionally, she worked for the Appleton Public Library from 1989 to her retirement as the Circulation Supervisor in 2006. In her retirement Mary was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, bird watching, needlework, and visiting with family and neighbors on the patio.
    Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Van Lieshout, and parents George and LaVerne Weyenberg. She is survived by one brother, David (Barbara) Weyenberg, Shawano, two sisters-in-law, Barbara (Steve) Tadych, Dayton, Ohio, Joan (Jerry) Hanson, Mukwonago, and one brother-in-law, Edward (Carol) Van Lieshout, Appleton.
    At Mary's request, no visitation or funeral services will be held. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all her family and friends.

    Richard J. Oberweiser, age 64, passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 7, 2015 with his loving wife Susan by his side. He was born in Appleton on August 23, 1950 to the late James and Margaret (Rutter) Oberweiser.
    Dick worked many long hours as a manager in the bar/restaurant and banquet establishments throughout the Fox Valley, including Alex's Crown, The Pioneer Resort and The Valley Inn in Neenah.
    Dick loved sailboats. All kinds, all sizes. His favorite summer past-time was sailing around Lake Winnebago with his son Charlie in his 16 foot ComPac. Some of his favorite sailing adventures were a Barefoot Caribbean Cruise and the two months he spent as a working crew member on a replica of Christopher Columbus's ship, the Niña.
    He loved gardening and had a very large vegetable garden. He also enjoyed cooking and finding new recipes for the vegetables he harvested, the fish he caught, and the deer and game he hunted.
    Dick met his wife Susan Erm at a ballroom dance class and they were united in marriage on June 11, 2003.
    He is survived by his wife Susan; son Charles Oberweiser of Tennessee; two stepsons: Nicholas (April) Sheets of Fort Bragg, North Carolina and Brian Sheets of Sherwood; five grandchildren; and a brother Donald (Jill) Oberweiser of Menasha.
    A funeral service for Dick will be held at 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at ST. MARY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 528 Second Street, Menasha. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Menasha. Online condolences may be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com.
