    Wittman, Cecelia A. KaukaunaAge 97, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2003 at the Franciscan Care Cent er in Appleton. Cecelia was born in Kaukauna on September 17, 1906; daught er of the late Balthus and Magdalena (Yingling) Hoffman. In June of 192 5, she married Theodore Wittman in Kaukauna; he preceded her in death. Ma ny will remember Cecelia as a great homemaker, cook, and gardener; she w as also a longtime and faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Kauk auna. In her later years, she enjoyed playing bingo and watching televisio n. For six years, she lived with her daughter Marlene, and loved spendi ng time with the family dog, Penny.Cecelia is survived by a daughter, Marlene (Richard) Evers of Appleto n; a son, Marvin (Mary Ann) Wittman of Kaukauna; seven grandchildren: Je an Wittman, Dan (Betty) Wittman, Kenneth (Ann) Wittman, Patricia (Mark) Fu ller, Donald (Kay) Wittman, Troy Evers, and Todd (Shelly) Evers; ten great -grandchildren: Jake Wittman, Micah, Eli, and Tekoa Wittman, Allison, Caro lyn, and Matthew Evers, and Maria, Krista, and Peter Fuller; a sister, Hel en Taylor of Green Bay; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relativ es, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband T ed Wittman, brothers Simon, Reinhold, Joseph, Matthew, Henry, Michael, a nd Charlie Hoffman; and a sister Mary Faust.The funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 10, 20 03 at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 119 W. 7th Street in Kaukauna with Fr. Rob ert Udulutsch, OFM Cap. officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemet ery. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday from 10 AM until t he hour of the service.The family would like to extend their gratitude to the entire staff at Fra nciscan Care Center. You cared for and loved our mother so much; thank y ou all.

    Evers, Marlene (Wittman)Marlene (Wittman) Evers, Appleton. Loving wife, mother, sister and grandmo ther, age 69, died on Tuesday, March 02, 2004 at her home. Marlene was bo rn in Kaukauna on March 24, 1934, daughter of the late Theodore and Cecel ia (Hoffman) Wittman. She married Richard Evers on September 1, 1956. Marl ene was a lover of life who enjoyed fishing and would spend 14 hours a d ay on the shore. She also enjoyed attending auctions and landscaping her l awn, especially with flowers.Marlene is survived by her husband, Richard; two sons: Troy and Todd (Mich ele) Evers; her brother, Marvin (Mary Ann) Wittman; grandchildren: Alliso n, Carolyn and Matthew; and her beloved dog, Teddy Bear.The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, March 5, 2004, at S T. THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1810 North McDonald Street, Appleton, wi th Rev. Gerald Falk officiating. Visitors will be received at the chur ch on Friday, March 5 from 10 a.m. until the time of service. The interme nt will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Appleton.The family would like to extend special thanks to THEDACARE At Home Hospic e, especially Kelly, for their loving care of Marlene.
