    Obituary:
    Sister Evelyn Pansier, 100, of the Sisters of our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd, returned to God on Jan. 30, 2015. Sister was born in DePere on April 5, 1914, the daughter of the late Peter and Henrietta (Coenen) Pansier.
    Sister Evelyn entered The Sisters of Our Lady of Charity in 1942 and served the community in different capacities, chiefly in the educational department of the agency for the Sisters' Residential Center for Adolescents. She was director of a program for Cuban refugees and director of Ri Residence, a program for retired women. Sister served on the Sisters' Council and as a member of the Eudes Operational Board.
    Having graduated from St. Norbert College, Sister earned her Master's Degree in Buffalo, New York.
    In her latter years, Sister Evelyn taught art to adults who longed to express their artistic talent long hidden by various life commitments. She also volunteered to help students pursuing academic courses.
    Sister Evelyn is survived by one sister, Frances Van Da Huvel, one brother, Ray Pansier, many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews and the Sisters of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd. She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Wilfred (Fern) Pansier, Walter (Pearl) Pansier, Jim (Marie) Pansier and Winifred who died in his infancy. She is further preceded by her sister-in-law Helen Pansier, two nephews, Wayne (Pat) Pansier and Bob Aerts, and a dearly loved aunt, Mary Coenen.
    Visitation will be held in the Convent Chapel at 2560 Shawano Avenue on Tuesday Feb. 3rd from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 with Reverend Bill Ribbens officiating. To leave a condolence online, please visit NewcomerGreenBay.com
