    Jansen, Roger P.Roger P. Jansen, Kimberly, died Sunday, July 2, 2006, at Parkside Care Cen ter. He was 75. Roger was born September 30, 1930, to the late John and A nn (De Bruin) Jansen. He married Darlene Caron on October 20, 1953, at Ho ly Name Parish in Kimberly. Roger proudly served his country in Kore a. He operated Jansen's Beer and Liquor for ten years. Roger's entrepreneu rial spirit then took him into the hardware business. He owned and operat ed Kimberly Hardware from 1971 until his retirement. In addition to bei ng a lifelong member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Roger was a p ast president of the St. John Athletic Association and was inducted into t he St. John Hall of Fame in 1997. He was an avid sports fan and found no g reater joy than cheering on his grandchildren at their track meets, footba ll, baseball and basketball games. He enjoyed barbequing and making popcor n. Roger found these hobbies especially pleasing when there were good frie nds present to share them with.Roger is survived by his wife of 52 years, Darlene, Kimberly; three childr en, Gary (Lauren) Jansen, Little Chute; Nancy (Dan) Bressers, Darboy; a nd Patty (Harlin) Brooks, Kimberly; ten grandchildren, Josh, Ed, Mike a nd John Jansen; Nick and Emma Bressers; David, Brent, Kevin and Nash Brook s; one great-grandson, William West; two brothers, John (Elaine) Jansen a nd Bill (Doris) Jansen; two sisters, Joyce Van Gompel and Betty (Ken) Geig er; and two sisters-in-law, Maggie (Irv Guernsey) Jansen and Dolores Janse n. Roger is further survived by other relatives and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ea rl, Tom "Tucker" and Joe Jansen; sister, Mickey (Don) Farrell; two infa nt sisters; and one brother-in-law, Elmer Van Gompel.The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 7, 2006, at St. J ohn Nepomucene Catholic Church. The Rev. Patrick Beno will officiate. T he Jansen family will receive friends Friday, after 9 a.m. until the ti me of Mass directly at church. Military rites will be performed by the Jac ob Coppus American Legion Post 258, Little Chute, immediately following Ma ss Committal Holy Name Cemetery.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
