    Lowney, Lorraine Jeanette (Balthazor)
    Mrs. Lorraine J. Lowney, age 73, of Manawa, was reunited with her husband, Leonard, and her two sons, Brian and Thomas, in heaven on Wednesday, Au gust 30, 2006. She passed peacefully in the early morning with her fami ly by her side. She was born on September 28, 1932, to William and Leona ( Bertram) Balthazor. Lorraine graduated from New London High School in M ay of 1950. She married her true love, Leonard Lowney, on July 19, 195 0, in Bear Creek, Wisconsin. Lorraine was a loving, dedicated wife and mot her. Her greatest joy was watching her children and grandchildren. She s at through many football games and wrestling matches with a smile on her f ace.
    Lorraine is survived by her children: Kathleen Robley (Tom Kufahl), Mark ( Mary) Lowney, Gerald (Barbara) Lowney, Mary (Randy) Miller, Steven (Mali a) Lowney, William Lowney, JoAnn (Paul) Schmidt, Daniel Lowney, Richard (R ita) Lowney, James (Lori) Lowney, Robert (Tammy) Lowney, Donn (Tina) Lowne y, Terri Clark, and Shawn (Jason) Treichel; daughter-in-law, DeeDee Lowne y; brothers: Loyes (Mary) Balthazor and Raymond (Shirley) Balthazor; siste rs-in-law: Sister Mary Ellen Lowney and Rosemary Lowney; 38 grandchildre n, six step-grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, eight step-great-grandc hildren; and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
    Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Lowney (03-03-93 ); her sons, Thomas Lowney (06-12-93) and Brian Lowney (12-04-93); grandso n, Dominic Lowney; parents, William and Leona Balthazor; sister, Joyce Bal thazor; and brother-in-law, William Lowney.
    The Funeral Mass for Lorraine that will celebrate her life will be he ld on Saturday, September 2, 2006, at 12:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Cathol ic Church in Manawa with Rev. Paul Vanden Hogen officiating. Burial wi ll be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on S aturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.

    New London - Theodore "Ray" Balthazor, age 83 of New London, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at ThedaCare in Neenah after a short illness. Ray was born on February 19, 1935 in Bear Creek to the late Bill and Leona Balthazor. He was united in marriage to Shirley Anvelink on June 8, 1963. Ray was employed at Bordens/Saputo in New London and retired after 40 years. He was a board supervisor for 40 years for the Town of Maple Creek and was a volunteer for the New London Fire Department for 10 years. Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to flea markets, doing yard work and collecting old cars. He loved attending the Iola Car Show. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
    Ray is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter, Sue (Jim) Stern, New London; grandchildren, Jessica (Derek) Jablonicky, Green Bay and Meagan (Matt) Skarzynski, Shawano; great-grandson, Mason and brother-in-law, Terry (Julie) Anvelink, Navarino.
    Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Leona Balthazor; son, Kevin and siblings, Lorraine (Lenard) Lowney, Joyce Balthazor and Loyes (Mary) Balthazor.
    A Mass of Christian Burial for Ray will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at St. Denis Catholic Church in Shiocton. Fr. Jack Mullarkey will be officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Bear Creek.
