Obituary:
Susan A. Larson, Kaukauna, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2014, while visiting her mother in Arizona. She was born July 24, 1952 to Bernard and Stella (Menting) Cornelius. Susan was engaged to the love of her life, Stanley Balke. She loved going to Brewers games with her family, traveling, playing cards, spending time in her flower garden, but most of all cooking and spoiling her grandchildren. She was employed for 21 years at Neenah Paper.
Sue will be deeply missed by her fiancée, Stanley Balke, her children: Jessica (Bryan) Schmidt and their children, Aubree and Autumn; Jenny (Erik) Rottier; and Stanley's daughter, Jennifer (Dennis) Umentum and their children, Dillon, Robert, Carly, Elizabeth, Harold, and Maggie; her mother, Stella Cornelius; siblings: Sandy (Howard) Thomack, Dan (Liz) Cornelius, David (Susan) Cornelius, Doug (Julie) Cornelius, Dean (Dawn) Cornelius, and Cindy (Phil) Buttles. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard and her brother, Dennis Cornelius.
Mass of Christian Burial for Susan will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH at St. Mary Church, 119 W. 7th St., Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends may call on Monday, February 3, 2014 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a parish prayer service concluding the evening. Friends may call again on Tuesday directly at church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
