    Obituary:
Barbara A. Vandeyacht (nee Wyngard), Combined Locks, age 49, died Monday, April 9, 2007, with her family by her side at St. Elizabeth Hospital after a short and courageous battle with a rare brain disease. She was born September 5, 1957, in Kaiserslautern, Germany, to the late Martin and Lieselotte (Ries) Wyngard. Barb was an artist in every sense of the word, decorating window displays at Familiar Grounds, and helping couples plan beautiful weddings at the Grand Meridian. Previously, Barb was a designer with Ethan Allen as well as Cline-Hanson. Barb's artwork frequently won "best-of-show" while she was a student at UW-Oshkosh and later at FVTC. Many are fortunate to snuggle up with one of Barb's quilts or to have a worn a costume she designed. There is a good chance Barb's artistic touch and kindness have left a mark on your life. Barb was a chocolate aficionado who enjoyed spending time with her family, caring for her "grand-beasts," listening to The Beatles, touring around on motorcycles with her husband and friends, and capturing everything on her camera. Barb will always be remembered for her selflessness, creativity and loving hugs.
Barb is survived by her husband of 25 years, Ken, and a son, Chris, Combined Locks; a daughter, Michelle, Appleton; three "grand-cats", Norton, Linus and Bobbie and a "grand-puppy", Luna; sisters and brothers: Karin (Stephen) Rastall, Shawano; Friedrich (Sylvia) Ries, Juergen Ries, Gabriele (George) Croom, Ramona Ries, Martina (Marthias) Littig, Michael (Andrea) Ries, and Hans (Inge) Steiner, all of Kaiserslautern, Germany; Jerry (Mary) Kowalski, and Bonnie Payne, Marinette. She is further survived by her husband's family: Ken's mother, Patricia Vandeyacht, brothers and sisters: Dan (Kathy) Vandeyacht, Jim (Bette) Vandeyacht, Kathy (Glen) Vander Velden, Bill (Barb) Vandeyacht, Jean (Bob) Kieffer, Tom (Mary) Vandeyacht, Patti (Brian) Joosten, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Barb was preceded in death by a niece, Jacqueline Rastall and her father-in-law, Mark Vandeyacht.
Funeral Services for Barb will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2007, at Bethany Lutheran Church, Kaukauna, with Pastor Walter Steinbach officiating. Visitation for friends and family begins at 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family. 920-766-2099.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff at St. E's ICU for their extraordinary care and for the ongoing love and support of family and friends.

Barbara married Vandeyacht, Kenneth Gordon 01 Oct 1981. Kenneth (son of Vandeyacht, Mark Martin and Peterson, Patricia Delores) was born 7 Dec 1954, Appleton, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; died 04 Oct 2022, Combined Locks, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA. [Group Sheet]
