    Heinz, Anna M. Appleton Age 93, joined her Husband and Great Granddaughter on Saturday, April 13, 2002. Born March 21, 1909 in the Village of Black Creek to Nicholas and Theresa (Heigl) Helein. On November 16, 1927 she was united in marriage to Claude Heinz. He preceded her in death on December 22, 1961.
    She is survived by two sons, Robert (Marie) Heinz and Claude (Carol) Heinz, Appleton; two daughters: Delores "Dee" (Gerald) Captain, Appleton; Shirley (Ronald) Dollevoet, Florida; 19 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren, two step Great Granddaughters and two Great Grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister, Elenora VanToll, Kimberly; a Brother-in-law, Emil Kuba, Appleton; and many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
    She is preceded in death by four brothers: Frank, Nickalas, John & William Helein; two sisters: Theresa Nieland and Mary Wieland; one Great Granddaughter, Michelle.
    According to Anna's wishes, Private services will be held at the Valley Funeral Home with her loving children, grandchildren and great grand children in attendance. The family would like to thank all the care givers at Care Partners in Little Chute especially Rhonda, (Her I-L-O-V-E You) Friend.

    Lund, Margy (Weiland) Age 88, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015. She was born in the Town of Ellington on January 9, 1927 at home on the family farm, daughter of the late Carl and Mary (Helein) Weiland. On October 1, 1949, Margy married Lyle "Larry" "Sonny" Lund. They resided in Harrisburg, PA and later moved to New Cumberland, PA. Lyle preceded her in death on July 31, 1984 due to kidney problems. Margy graduated from business school in Harrisburg, PA. In August 1988, she retired from Bon-Ton Department Store where she was a department manager for 32 years. After her retirement, Margy moved back to Wisconsin to be with her family, leaving many friends back in Pennsylvania. Mike Tyler, her nephew, moved her back to Wisconsin, and she made her home with Mike. Margy just sat around home for a while, then went to work at Dean's Canning Factory in Hortonville, WI, until they closed the doors in 2000. She then went to work at School Specialty for five years. In 2006, Margy retired for good. Margy had good dogs to take care of. She enjoyed doing circle-a-word, reading, puzzles and crafts.
    Margy is survived by one brother: Raymond (Ardella) Weiland, Hortonville; two sisters: Mary "Mae" (Ronald) Tyler, Shiocton and Eleanora "Honey" Ferge, New London; and two brothers-in-law: John Lund, Branson, MO, and James (Darla) Lund, Appleton. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews and her special ladies friends who met once a month for lunch: Betty, Verna, Joyce, Mary and her two sisters.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Lyle "Larry" Lund; brothers: Clarence "Buck" (Vera) Weiland and Debert "Bert" (Molly) Weiland; brother-in-law: Larry Ferge; sister-in-law Marleen Lund; nephew: Gary Weiland; her parents; and her husband's siblings: four sisters and six brothers.
    A funeral service for Margy will take place at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 16, 2015, at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, N3505 State Road 47, Appleton, with Pastor Jeffrey Suhr and Pastor Micah Martin officiating. Friends can visit with the family from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be at Tri County Memorial Gardens, Lewisberry, PA, with her husband.

    Hortonville - Raymond Carl Weiland, age 88, of Hortonville, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Ray was born on December 21, 1929 to the late Carl and Mary (Helien) Weiland in the Town of Ellington. He was united in marriage to Ardella Kohl on August 10, 1957 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Readfield. Ray was a volunteer firefighter for many years, serving as chief for a number of those years. He was a member of the Commercial Club, the Polar Bear Riders Snowmobile Club and also was a charter member of the Grandview Golf Course. He worked as a mechanic at the Ford Motor garage in Hortonville and retired in 1995. After retiring, he worked part-time for Korth Trucking. Ray enjoyed helping in many ways at the Kohl Farm in Readfield, especially driving tractor. Ray will always be remembered as the man who could fix anything! He was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Readfield, where he held several positions.
    Ray is survived by his wife, Ardella; sons, Terry (Betty) Weiland and Donald (Patricia) Weiland; grandchildren, Corey (Heidi) Weiland, Shawn (Lauren) Weiland, Melissa Weiland and Trisha (Kyle) Everson; great-grandchildren, Cody, Chase, Lorlei, Marly Weiland, Soren Everson and new "grandson Everson" coming in March; sisters, Mary Ellen Tyler and Eleanora Ferge and brother-in-law, Clifford (Ardes) Kohl. Ray is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Ray was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, Luther and Esther Kohl; brothers, Clarence (Verna) and Donald (Marlene) Weiland; sister, Marg (Larry) Lund; brothers-in-law, Larry Ferge and Ronald Tyler and Rosemary Hunt-Weiland.
    The funeral service for Ray will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Readfield. Rev. Peter Kesting will be officiating. Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Borchardt Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville and again from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the church. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Readfield.
    The family wishes to thank the Hortonville Police Department, the EMTs and the Gold Cross Ambulance for their quick response and efforts.
    In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.

Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. On July 5, 1954 he was united in marriage to Marlene "Molly" Paulson. She preceded him in death in 2007. He worked for many years at Luebke Roofing in Appleton. Don enjoyed being outside, fishing, cooking, building things and listening to polka music. He is survived by a daughter, Tammy Weiland, New London. Three sons, Rob Weiland, New London, Tim (Kathy) Weiland, New London, Rodney Weiland, New London. One brother, Ray (Susie) Weiland, Hortonville. Three sisters, Marge Lund, Black Creek, Mae (Ronnie) Tyler, Shiocton, Eleanora Ferge, New London. Two grandchildren, Lindsey & fiancée Matt and Mackenzie. Besides his wife, Don was preceded in death by a brother Clarence. The Funeral Service for Don will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday July 17, 2012 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London with Rev. Kate Croskery-Jones officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in the Floral Hill Cemetery. Military Rites will be held.

    Donald J. Helein, 85, Black Creek passed away Saturday evening, October 1, 2011, at his home with his family by his side. He was born January 19, 1926, son of the late John and Elsie (Zocholl) Helein. On October 23, 1954, he was united in marriage to Arla Holcomb in Appleton. Don was a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1951-1953. He farmed on the family homestead until his retirement. He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in the Town of Black Creek, where he was a former council member. He also was a retired member of the Black Creek Rural Fire Dept. and a member of the Black Creek American Legion. Don's wishes were to pass away in the house he was born, raised, and lived all his life.
    Don is survived by his wife, Arla; son, Gary (Virginia) Helein, Seymour; daughters: Sue (Bill) Schneider, Black Creek; Sara (Brian) Biettler, Black Creek; grandchildren: Nick (Diana) Helein, Erica (Jason) Jansky, Brock Helein, Megan Helein, John (Carrie) Schneider, Laura Schneider; brother, Walter (Evelyn) Helein, Eagle River.
    He was preceded in death by two sisters: Odell and Marian (Eugene) Vick.
    Friends may call Wednesday, October 5, 2011 from 4-8 p.m., at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, and Thursday at St. John's United Church of Christ, Black Creek, from 10:00 a.m. until services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gail Irwin officiating.     Appleton - Robert C. Heinz, 89, of Appleton died Thursday, December 14, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born in Appleton, March 29, 1928, son of the late Claude Sr. and Anna (Helein) Heinz. Robert married Marie Will on April 23, 1954.
    Robert served his country in the U.S. Navy at the end of WWII aboard the USS Antietam. He worked at Kimberly Clark and was a member of the Breakfast Optimist Club of the Fox Valley Robert sold ice cream from the "Red Bus" throughout the Fox Valley for many years. He took great pride in puttering with and manicuring his lawn to perfection. He enjoyed attending the Farmers Market. Roberts greatest enjoyment came from the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
    Robert is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Marie; his nine children: Jim, Appleton, Julianne (John) Spanjers, Rosemount, MN, Joel (CrystalRose), Appleton, John, Appleton, Jeanine (Mike) Main, Dale, Jeffery (Ann Marie), Menasha, Jennifer Boyle, Neenah, Jay (Lisa), Appleton, and Jerry, Appleton; 19 grandchildren: Nicole, James, Valerie, Patrick, Spencer (Caitlin), Lauren (Kyle), Trevor, Noel, Mitchell, Garrett, Anthony, Sara (Brad), Steven (Jessica), Sean (Stacy), Jasper, Austen, Rosalyn, Elizabeth and Violet; seven great grandchildren: Aireanna, Baylyn, Kaleb, Ann Marie, David, Maddie, Aubrey, and Tiana; He is further survived by two sisters: Dee (Gerald) Captain, Appleton and Shirley (Ronald) Dollevoet, Florida. Robert was further preceded in death by his son, Jody and a brother, Claude Jr.
    In keeping with his wishes, a private family service for Robert will be held.
    Robert's family would like to extend a special thank you to the Appleton Fire Department First Responders, Gold Cross Ambulance, and the entire staff at both St. Elizabeth Hospital ER and ICU, especially Joe, Kyle and Diane, for all of the care and compassion shown.

    On March 1, 2010, Claude went to his eternal home. He died in the arms of his loving family, after a seventeen month illness. Claude was born on Christmas Day, 1930, son of the late Claude and Anna (Helein) Heinz of Appleton. He attended high school in Appleton, and on August 7, 1954, married the former Carol Pagel. Their fifty-five year marriage was blessed with two sons, Mike and Greg. Claude was employed for forty years by the Kimberly Clark Corporation where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He retired on January 1, 1990. In his younger years, he was an accomplished ice skater and received many awards. He also enjoyed roller skating. Over the years he was also involved in the WELS Boy Pioneer program, as well as ushering at church. Claude was a "master tinkerer", and his favorite hobby was working on older cars, fixing just about anything, and woodworking. He also enjoyed polka music. He was also an avid fan of the Packers and Badgers, rarely missing a game.
    He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years: Carol Heinz of Appleton; two sons: Mike Heinz and Greg Heinz, both of Appleton; a brother: Robert (Marie) Heinz of Appleton; two sisters: Dee (Jerry) Captain of Appleton and Shirley (Ron) Dollevoet of Florida; a sister-in-law: Jan (Don) Laabs of Beaver Dam, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Claude was preceded in death by his parents and by Carol's parents Otto and Adeline Pagel. Claude will be greatly missed by his loving family.
    The Christian Funeral for Claude will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at ST. MATTHEW EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 129 S. Mason Street in Appleton with Rev. Thomas Mielke officiating. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call directly at the church on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM until the hour of the service.
    Carol, Mike, and Greg would like to thank all of Claude's physicians and nurses who took such great care of him during his illness. Thanks also to each of the caregivers from ThedaCare At Home, whose special care and concern permitted Claude to remain at his own home.

    Mary Weiland, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday morning, December 1, 2013. Gary was born in Appleton on November 16, 1946, son of the late Clarence "Buck" and Verna (Lund) Weiland. He was a graduate of the Appleton High School, and also proudly served several years in the United States Navy. On March 9, 1968, Gary married Janis Voigt in Appleton. She survives. Over the years Gary worked at Luebke Roofing & Siding and Baer's Beverage, where he made many lifelong friends. Prior to his retirement he worked at Badger Metals.
    Gary truly enjoyed going up north to "The Land" where he hung out with the boys, enjoyed the woods, and spent time beneath the pines relaxing around the campfire with a couple of beers or frying eggs for the family for breakfast. He followed the Badgers, Brewers, and Packers. Everyone who had the opportunity to meet Gary enjoyed his mischievous wit, wonderful sense of humor, and nice conversations. He was a very generous man who was happy to do anyone a favor. He loved his wife and family deeply. Everyone who knew Gary knows he'll have as much fun and happiness in Heaven as he did on Earth.
    Gary is survived by his wife: Janis Weiland of Menasha; three children: Ann (James) Chesnutt of Appleton; Christian (Heidi) Weiland of Menasha and their children Ethan and Haden; and Joseph (Michelle) Weiland of Menasha and their children Allison and Ryan; a sister: Lois (Dennis) Wiesner of Hortonville; a brother: Greg (Kathy Taplin) Weiland of Neenah; two brothers-in-law: James (Noritha) Voigt of Fremont and Steven (Debra)Voigt of Winneconne; two sisters-in-law: Mary (Don Loga) Voigt of Wisconsin Dells and Sue (Curt) Foth of Appleton. There are also many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Mark Weiland, his in-laws Clarence and Betty Voigt, and a nephew Carl Weiland.
    The family will hold a private memorial service to say good-bye to Gary. Friends and family are also invited to gather on Saturday afternoon, December 7, 2013 from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 PM at PULLMAN'S RESTAURANT, 619 S. Olde Oneida Street in Appleton for a time of reflection, remembrance, and refreshment.
