Alice was a wonderful home maker and loved to bake and cook. S he will be greatly missed by her daughter, Joan (John) Rickert, Sun Cit y, SC; her sister, Helen Finnerty, Appleton; 3 grandchildren, Jacqueline a nd James Rickert; Ryan McCarthy; and a great-granddaughter, Emily Cover.Al ice is further survived by many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her son, Tim; 5 brothers, Amos, Clarence, Wal ly, Lawrence and Elmer Kohl.The funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 20 03 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 West Marquette St., Appleton, with R ev.     Helen C. Finnerty, age 95, of Appleton, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Rennes Health Center. Helen was born January 7, 1921, in the Town of Center, the daughter of the late Paul and Annie (Schultz) Kohl.
    On December 20, 1966, Helen married James C. Finnerty in Appleton. James preceded Helen in death on December 23, 2001.
    Helen was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Appleton and was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan.
    She is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, and husband James, Helen was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.
    Friends may call on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette Street, Appleton, from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11 a.m., in the church, with Father Thomas J. Farrell officiating.
