    Freedom - Helen Marie (Henn) Beyer, age 89, of Freedom, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018, at St. Paul Elder Serivices, Kaukauna with family by her side. Helen was born on March 16, 1929, daughter of the late August and Mabel (Ziesmer) Henn.
    On October 10, 1946 she was united in marriage to Russell Beyer at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. They celebrated 67 years of marriage together.
    Helen enjoyed cooking, baking, and having people over for meals. Everyone loved her angel food cake, k-bars, chocolate cake with fudge frosting, and her stuffing. Following their retirement from farming, Russ and Helen enjoyed casino bus trips and playing cards with their friends and family.
    Helen is survived by her seven children: Patty (Pat) Geenen, Freedom; Terry (Linda) Beyer, Seymour; Karen (Mike) Geenen, Freedom; Sue (Mark) Diedrick, Seymour; Jan (Bruce) Eggert, Appleton; Jim (Sandy) Beyer, Seymour; Tammie (Joe) Goaley, Freedom; grandchildren: Bob (Terri) Geenen, Jill (Lance) Vandenberg, Kevin Beyer, Jackie (Mark) Cychosz, Dean Diedrick, Laurie (Brian) Noll, Stacy (Don) Saringer, Jody Eggert, Dana Eggert, Shawn (Erin) Beyer, Craig (Emily) Beyer, Amanda and David Beyer, Kelly (Nate) Cherne, Brenda Goaley; 17 great-grandchildren and one more expected; She is also survived by her sisters: Jean (John) Murphy and Sally Blom; brothers: Harold "Bud" Henn and Don (Priscilla) Henn.
    Helen is preceded in death by her parents, August and Mabel Henn; husband, Russell Beyer; one infant daughter; grandsons: Greg and Rod Geenen, Todd and Joey Geenen; and in-laws Herman and Ella (Miller) Beyer.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Tuesday, August 14 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 15 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour with Pastor Natalie Kramer officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

    Obituary:
    Rod Geenen, 44, Seymour, loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend, died as a result of an automobile accident on May 1, 2010. He was born on Feb. 12, 1966, to Pat and Patty (Beyer) Geenen in the Town of Freedom.
    Rod was a dedicated father and truly enjoyed the time that he spent with his children, Austin and Madison. He lived life to the fullest and was always the laugh and life of the party. Rod enjoyed coaching sports and was an avid sports fan. His life on Earth was way too short, but he touched the lives of many.
    Rod is survived by his two wonderful children, Austin and Madison; their mother, Jody Calmes; loving parents, Pat and Patty Geenen; brother, Bob (Terrie) Geenen; sister, Jill (Lance) Vandenberg; and grandparents, Russ and Helen Beyer. Rod was a fun and loving uncle to goddaughter Bailee, Bryce and Brooke. He also had several special aunts, uncles and cousins that will truly miss him. Rod had close friends that were like family that he enjoyed and had many laughs with.
    Rod was preceded in death by his brother, Greg; cousins, Joe and Scott; and grandparents, Gerald and Sis Geenen.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, from 4 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service concluding the evening. Visitation will continue at St Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom, on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, from 10 a.m. until services at 12 noon with Father Dave Hoffman. Burial in the parish cemetery.

    The family would like to sincerely thank family and friends for all the care and concern.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Austin and Madison.
