Obituary:
Lorraine A. Wicinske, age 92, of Appleton, passed away at Emerald Valley Assisted Living on Sunday, October 20, 2013. Lorraine was born on October 12, 1921, in Appleton , to the late John and Emily (Maahs) Deoneseus. She married John Wicinske on July 11, 1942, in Appleton; he preceded her in death on November 2, 1999. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother. Lorraine enjoyed cooking, baking, singing in the church choir, was an avid Packers and Badgers fan, and especially enjoyed the time spent with her loving family. Survivors include her children, Judith (David) Gosha; John (Sandra) Wicinske; and Jeffrey Wicinske; her grandchildren, Stacey (Dave) Ducat, Jill Gosha (fiancé Jon Bierman), Shelley Wicinske (Jolie Snow), John Wicinske II (Claire Horman), Christopher Wicinske, Jordan Wicinske and Joseph Wicinske; her great grandchildren, Michael and Sean Gosha; and her great great grandson, Lucas Gosha. She is further survived by Cheryl Gosha, wife of her late grandson, Daniel Gosha. Lorraine was preceded in death by her sister, Lillian Oertel; and her brother, Frederick Oertel.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2013, at STAR OF HOPE CHAPEL, Highland Memorial Park, 3131 N. Richmond Street, Appleton, with Rev. Debra "Dee" Sim officiating. Friends may call directly at the chapel on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Rev.
