Obituary:
Dale Allen Sr., 74, Shiocton, passed away after a long battle with lung disease. He worked at the Neenah Foundry for 38 years. Dale was born on April 4, 1936, in the township of Maine. He was the son of the late Leonard and Beulah Allen. On Feb. 11, 1956, he married Nancy Brown and enjoyed 54 years of marriage. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who will always be lovingly remembered and dearly missed. He enjoyed life to the fullest and cherished time with his family and friends.
Dale is survived by his wife, Nancy; their six children, Doug Allen, Kim Allen, Richard Allen and spouse Cynthia Habeck-Allen, Tom Allen and significant other Laurie Stick, Dale (Skip) Allen and spouse Jackie Allen, and Ann Guyette and spouse Kevin Guyette. Eight grandchildren; Russell (Tiger) Affeldt Jr. and spouse DeAnna Shepard-Affeldt, Dawn Fletcher and significant other Hank Merten, Casey Guyette, Zane Allen, Toren Guyette, Paige Allen, Jacob Guyette and significant other Carly Bork, and Zarissa Allen. Three great-grandchildren; Exander Fletcher, Hunter Merten and Autumn Guyette. One sister; Gloria Ritchie and spouse William Ritchie. One brother; Glen Allen and spouse Evonne Allen.
He is preceded in death by his parents and six siblings. Ruby Owen, Norbert Allen, Darrel Allen, Wayne Allen, Carol Le Noble and Evelyn Young.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff on the second floor at St. Elizabeth Hospital and Sister Ann.
There will be a private gathering for family and friends.
