    Stanley S. Guyette, 94, Green Bay, passed away very peacefully at a local hospital on Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Stanley was born on December 23, 1913.
    He married Helen Stephen on January 4, 1941. Stanley served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific during WWII. Together Stanley and Helen raised four boys and a daughter. He was a member of the VFW Duck Creek Post 7534. Stanley enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid reader. He was especially proud of his "second career" of cutting pulp in northern Wisconsin after retiring from Olson Trailer and Body in 1971.
    Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Helen; four children, Ronald (Nancy), Little Suamico; Larry (Sharon), De Pere; Bob (Rhonda), Little Suamico; Barb McNitt, Green Bay; daughter-in-law, Donna, De Pere; 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; two great- great grandchildren; one sister May Rose (Joe) Klein, CA; two sisters-in-law.
    Stanley was preceded in death by his son, Gary; nine brothers and sisters.
    A celebration of Stanley's life with a visitation will be held at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 4 until 7 p.m. Funeral service 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Military Honors to follow by the Duck Creek VFW Post 7534.
    The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of Unity Hospice and Golden Living Center in Green Bay for their excellent care and service they provided during Stanley's illness.

    Vera Mary Lietz, Vera Mary Davidson, Appleton, Age 86, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2002 at Appleton Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was born on June 23, 1916 in Michigan the daughter of the late Mitchell and Alice (Bricco) Guyette. She married Edwin Davidson in August of 1935 and he passed away in July of 1963. In March of 1967 she married Alvin Lietz. Vera gave much of herself by volunteering with the Outagamie Volunteers in Probation, worked with children at Foster School, and was a charter member of Riverview Lutheran Church. She loved to crochet and gave her friends and family many beautiful gifts.
    She is survived by her husband Alvin of Appleton, her children Ronald (Nancy) Davidson of Forest Junction, Wisconsin, Sandra (Glenn) Kasten of Menasha, Bonnie (Ed) Felauer of Hortonville, Lorna (Les) Kasten of Appleton, 14 grandchildren: Ed (Linda) Davidson of Menasha, Dean Davidson of Waukegan, Renee (Todd) Maeder of Brillion, Carla (Gregg) Pederson of Stevens Point, Kay (Terry) Sheedlo of Escanaba, Michigan, Daniel Kasten of Kimberly, Kristine Kasten of Menasha, Vicki Jesko of Appleton, Lynn and Amy Felauer of Hortonville, Ann Felauer of Milwaukee, Lisa (Doug) Earll of Hortonville, Lee (Tricia) Kasten of Appleton, and Kraig (Tammy) Kasten of Appleton; and 22 great grandchildren. Vera is also survived by one brother Stanley (Helen) Guyette of Green Bay, and two sisters May Rose (Joe) Klein of California, and Alice (Duwayne) Meyer of Bear Creek, Wisconsin, and many nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her first husband Edwin Davidson, four brothers Loyas, Francis, Orville, and Floyd Guyette; three sisters Arvela Hansen, Beatrice Latza, and Grace Taves.
    A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, November 25, 2002 at 7:00 PM at Riverview Evangelical Lutheran Church, 136 West Seymour Street with the Rev. Dennis Belter officiating. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.
    The family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Guenther for giving our wife and mother three and a half more years, to Dr. Vogt, and to the nurses at Appleton Medical Oncology for their compassionate care.

    b>Meyer, Alice "Babe" M.Alice "Babe" M. Meyer, 80, of the Township of Deer Creek, Outagamie County, passed away Friday, March 16, 2007, at the Riverside Medical Center, Waupaca. Alice was born on Dec. 13, 1926, in Wakefield, Mich., the daughter of the late Mitchell and Alice (Bricco) Guyette. She was raised in New London and on Aug. 27, 1947, married Duane Meyer at the St. Denis Catholic Church, Shiocton. The couple lived in the Township of Maine, Outagamie County for three years until moving to the Township of Deer Creek where they have lived since. Raising their family of three children, Alice had worked at Hortonville Manufacturing for ten years then worked at the Hortonville Canning Company. Her most precious "job" was caring for her family, making dresses and providing meals. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, playing cards, mysteries, her cats "Tiger" and "Calico" and dancing. Alice could tap dance up and down the stairs on roller skates. Musical talents included singing, playing guitar, pump organ and accordion. When traveling, Alice was an excellent navigator. She was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church, Township of Navarino, Shawano County. She accepted Christ as her Savior in April of 1975. Her family takes great comfort in this blessed hope. Survivors include her husband, Duane; her daughters, Susan (Leon) Mills, Clintonville; Deb (Jim) Crandall, Eaton, Colo.; her son, John D. (Donna) Meyer, Anderon, Ind.; four grandchildren, John W. (Erica) Meyer, Hollister, Fla.; Scott (Stacy) Meyer, Elwood, Ind.; Michelle (Andrew) Thomas, Hortonville; and Amy (Ryan) Bobula, Appleton; five great-grandchildren, Katie, Jenny and Annie Thomas, Scottie and Annie Meyer; her sister, May (Joe) Klein, Victorville, Calif.; her brother, Stanley (Helen) Guyette, Green Bay. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Valerie, Beatrice, Vera and Grace, and four brothers, Orville, Loyas, Floyd and Francis.     Bernard "Ben" Guyette, 70, Green Bay, died peacefully at his home on Oct. 30, 2007, surrounded by family. Born in Ewen, Mich., he is the son of the late Francis and Alice (Phillips) Guyette. He is a 1956 graduate of West De Pere High School. Shortly following graduation he joined the United States Navy, where he served aboard a number of ships in Vietnam. On Sept. 2, 1958, he married the former Sue Monroe in San Diego, Calif. Ben enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling, woodworking, and watching sports on television - especially the Packers. He also enjoyed listening to Cajun, bluegrass, and oldies music.
    Ben is survived by three loving children, Bill and Robyn Guyette, Tony and Jan Guyette, both of Green Bay; Linda and Jerry Anderson, Lafayette, Colo.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Sylvester and Vicki Guyette, Green Bay; three sisters, Leona and Allen Peters, Betty Cornette, Patricia and Gary Simon, all of Green Bay; many nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Vincent, Norbert, Richard, and Ray Guyette; two sisters, Agnes Peters and Margaret Obey; one brother-in-law: Anthony Cornette.
    Ben's wishes were to have no public funeral or burial. Private services were held at MALCORE (WEST) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street.
    The family would like to extend a special thanks to Asera Care Hospice, Pastor Jerry Lewin, Jr., Dr. Edward Bantamoi, and Sharon Hisel.
